Medal of honour was one of the first war games i played on the sony playstation. I have to say in call of duty's early days medal of honour had the potential to become much better in the future, as i feel the very first games of both titles, medal of honour was much better. But medal of honour went to a limit where they couldn't really think of new things to add to the game to make it better. They focused more on the Pc than the console. And thats where they had there downfall.
Call of duty holds the next generation for best wargames out there. I mean the multi-player is award winning, and the stories are varied from world war 1,2 to our modernwarfare. Something that older games would of never thought of doing. There creators were always stuck in the post warexperiences and devloping that into a game.
Take this for example, medal of honour focuses on real life battles during the war I.e. D-Day. Excellent, however that's pretty much all they can think off. Hardly any of the events if none are based on there own creativity. They ran out of ideas and look where they are now. They left it to late to make big decisionsand call of duty took it.
If medal of honour were to be brought back, it wouldn't be seen as a good game. It would be seen by many call of duty fans as mediocre.
However like i said i praise the older versions of medal of honour. I love em.
