Live has to be the biggest ripoff there is. It should be free. Customers should be demanding this stuff.

if everyone stopped paying, im sure they would lower the price, but that will never happen, people have a sick addiction to xbox live, i use to, i must of spent $600 on dlc throughout my 2 years on live between movies and rockband tracks, and map packs

I agree, Kanomi could make a port for the 360 without kojima, since the game is already done, he is not required to direct it. If I recall, was i tnot Kojima who was addicted to Left 4 Dead on the 360? That could spark interest on his part in the 360. As for limitations of the MGS4 game, Kojima said the PS3 was too limited also, and he had to settle for the game that it became as opposed to the game he wanted it to be. seeing as the only limitation the 360 has vs PS3 is the storage capacity, I suppose hard drive installs would be manditory, so problem solved. You don't see a problem with mandatory HDD installs? Not everybody has one. And the game is 50 gigs. A 60 gig HDD can't even hold all that because of the reserved MS space and utitlity data and what not. The only way it would work is if it was multiple discs. The game has to be on multiple discs, thats it, if all the publishers weren't afraid of putting their games on two dics, we'd have alot better games, well for 360, ps3 has blu ray, but no publishers are too scared of looking out of date using two discs.
I highly doubt if it will be MGS4... But if it is... im going to laugh so hard while all the xbox 360 hating PS3 fanboys are like this O_O:?wergfwefwef
If MGS 4 ever goes to the 360, it's not going to be as good as the ps3 version, not because ps3 is more powerful or whater but because it mostly will be a port. Look up any game that ported to another console more than 6 months after its original release, it just doesn't play the same or as good as the original.
As a Xbox 360 owner, two years ago was a glorious time to own the console. May 19th, 2007, for a video gamer, for an Xbox 360 owner, the upcoming fall was going to be filled with so many games that you wouldn't know how to afford them all. You had the fan favorite Halo 3, Mass Effect, and a then 360, PC exclusive Bioshock coming up, that's just the exclusives. Then I wasn't thinking about the future, I was so amazed by the games. 2008 came along, albeit a little slower but you still had Gears of War 2 which was a big deal. But then, I could feel things tailing off, in 2009 all you saw was map pack after map pack from Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 you felt that there was nothing new. After the release of Metal Gear Solid 4, and later on Little Big Planet, after that Killzone 2, the once laughable PS3 that we all use to call a George Forman grill started cooking something. It started cooking games, not just games, but great games a variety of them. As a 360 owner I saw the reviews and videos of all these games and then the future of the PS3 with games like God of War 3 and MAG(albeit that could turn out to be a disappointment) and multiplats now virtually being the same for both consoles, I couldn't help but ask what the 360 has coming out? Just another Halo expansion, I saw the PS3 hitting its prime, that's why I made the decision to sell my 360 and get a PS3. This will probaly be the trend for alot of gamers I suspect, especially if nothing big is announced at E3 for the 360 and a pricedrop for the ps3 could just spike sales and rightfully so. I can sense the impatience of the 360 owner on these boards, I see official threads being mades for games like metal gear solid 4 saying that is coming out for the 360 which we know is not true. Two years ago I didn't see threads about ps3 exclusives coming to 360, no I saw threads about the great games coming out for the 360 and the excitement for them. I feel a change in the tides, and I see the ps3 rising. That's just what I think, take it or leave, but for me the ps3's future is brighter(I'm basing this off no facts just opinion)
I was debating maybe looking into buying a 360, iv played it and love it, games like halo and banjo-kazooie would be my main motive, iv only owned Nintendo brand stuff, and i love my wii.a big discouraging factor about the 360,that i witnessed first hand today,is the red ring of death....how common is a death ring? and should i buy one if it drains all my fun funds?

Do you have a PS3 first of all? If not, definitely buy one because its lineup is just plain epic. If you have a PS3, then definitely get a 360, though 360's lineup and future isnt so bright.
the best time to get a 360 was a year to two years ago when it was just big game after big game. Now it looks like the ps3 is just more consistant and more reliable hardware wise.
