[QUOTE="THQ88"][QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]Doesn't another 36 hour countdown start after this one ends? That's what I heard. 36 hours would mean the countdown ends during Sony's E3 conference.Erik729

I'm not sure yet. I hope SOLID Snake appears this time.

Why do you care so much if "Solid" is at the end of the title? In fact, why do you care AT ALL about the title? I just don't understand what that has to do with gameplay. Metal Gear would be a great start, as would Metal Gear Solid, but I'm really not concerned in the slightest; it is the gameplay that I care about.

I never mentioned SOLID to be in the title I just said I wish Solid Snake would appear in the next countdown.

http://www.gamervision.com/gamer/00_19/news/article/raiden_joins_big_boss_in_kojima_39_s_next

"Famitsu seems to think so. According to this scan, Raiden will be joining the as yet unnamed Kojima production as well. As you can see, there's actually another countdown clock reading 36 or so hours. Now, I put my noggin to good use, and broke out the ol' abacus to crunch some of these numbers.

The current countdown on Kojima's site has a clock counting down from 116 hours. At this point (10PM on Tuesday night), that puts the end of that clock sometime around dinnertime Sunday the 31st. Now, that would seem to be the time Raiden will be revealed to all, thus starting the next countdown of 36 hours. That should end Tuesday morning, or June 2nd, which many of you may know is the day Sony will be holding their press conference. Coincidence? I think not.

Whatever plans Sony and Kojima have, it looks like the cat is just about out of the bag. All that remains is finding out when, where, and why. Looks like it's up to Coop and Sarah to get answers those questions when they hit up E3 next week."

^Yep, found a link. I think we'll finally know what it is at Sony's conference.

dude Raiden is already appearing on Kojima teaser site. Where have you been?

Hey guys, there is less than 24 hours left for the countdown to reach 0 again. However, Sony's Press Conference is not due until a day after. Do you think Kojima will finally reveal the game's title or he will add one last countdown that counts until Sony's conference?? Remember, the current countdown ends hours after Microsoft's Press Conference.

We know it's Metal Gear related but we're not sure if it's going to be called "Metal Gear Solid" or "Metal Gear Solid 5". Hopefully Kojima sticks with the legendary name of the legendary franchise because under that name the franchise succeeded and has become one of the best in gaming history and the most influenced series ever. Kojima at least keep the "Metal Gear" name in your next project.

what do you guys think?

[QUOTE="Star650"] A remak of the first MG games is not a waste of time, what if he could make MG1 and MG2: SOLID SNAKE in one game, you beat big Boss in outer heaven and after that in Zanzabar Land that is really not a waste of time at all.Star650

but that's not new. He said he wants to spend the rest of his life creating new games. remaking MG and MGS2 is not NEW.

But it will be awesome.

if Kojima does it? Hell yea.

[QUOTE="Odrec"]If this was for the PSP game I want my hype back!gamermanps2

Agreed.

Maybe if the PSP GO was designed with playability in mind, it would be okay but they've just ignored the fans and made it smaller and more like the iPhone.

Good luck trying to experience stealth action gameplay with ONLY ONE STICK!

dude he is bringing 2 Metal Gears on both PLAYSTATION platforms.

But he also said that MGS3 would be the last one.

And that MGS4 would be the last one.

And that he wouldn't be involved with the next MGS.

...lol.

Star650

this is as far as the "NEXT" MGS goes but I really really and highly doubt that he is doing a remake right now or he will be doing in the future. It's a waste of time. He'd rather spend his time doing new things instead of remakes.

A remak of the first MG games is not a waste of time, what if he could make MG1 and MG2: SOLID SNAKE in one game, you beat big Boss in outer heaven and after that in Zanzabar Land that is really not a waste of time at all.
