In the light of the killing of the US health insurance executive, is there that much hate towards this industry?
Without going into specifics, what does it cost per year and what level do get?
Personally, do you have any horror stories in avoiding treatment or costs that have or nearly bankrupted yourself or someone you know?

Usually not a breakfast item, given my schedule.

I usually drink a bunch of tea in the morning--I go to work at 5AM, and am not very hungry--so my first meal is usually lunch of some kind around 9AM. I do have a protein bar or protein drink though when I drive to work just to get some initial nutrition.

This week I prepared a chicken-corn chipotle chowder. Very warming and nice on these cold 40-degree mornings.

I skip breakfast.

My window to eat food is only from 10 am-4pm. This keeps me lean and mean.

Yeah intermittent fasting is pretty great, I and some friends have had good luck with it.

I had to stop though because I tend to get a bit nauseous if I go on an empty stomach for too long.

How does it fit into your schedule? Pretty well? Any issues getting the calories and nutrients you need? Or do you just eat like two massive meals?

When you say 40deg, you mean Fahrenheit?
I needed to look that up.

Kaszanka and scrambled eggs with a glass of juice.

Kaszanka is a kind of sausage made from grits with a little bit of liver, chopped onions and blood. That probably doesn't sound too appetising but it's delicious served with those eggs and a bakery-fresh roll on the side. Plenty of iron and sufficient in all the macros you'd need for a cold autumn morning.

I'll usually chase that up with a cup of strong tea and a cigarette (I really will quit for good soon).

After that, I feel good and ready for the day ahead.

Mate, what are grits?
Sounds a bit like haggis.

Yes, I have. I went to what's known as the CNE, which means Canadian National Exhibition; some people call it "The Ex". They've got a huge food building, lots of rides, lots of animals and lots of stuff to buy. I got some beard oil a few years ago and it was pretty good.

Mate, I didn't know you were from Canadia!?

Well I am. I'm from what's known as the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).

Just been to Vancouver a few times.
