Question: What resolution to do run your games on? IMO- the higher the resolution you use, the lower your AA really needs to be. If you do turn on AA, don't go past 4x....because imo, you cant tell the difference between 4x and 8x or 16x...(unless you have a BIG monitor).
I donno what you are talking about!? I have a slow dsl connection (512k down, 256k up) and I can run COD4, the Battlefield Series and Crysis all online just fine. Most online games 2007 and on do a good job of dealing with ping even if you do have a high ping. As for me, my average ping is 50-60 in COD4.
The higher the AA, the better the quality of the picture....but at a price of performance. I try to avoid AA at all times because it drops my FPS drastically. If I do use AA, I never go past 4x because I can't tell a difference when I go any higher.
