Infernal was originally meant to be released in 2007 i remember reading about it in an Oxm (where did it go?) feature so this may have been cancelled and we just havent heard.

And the 360 has some amazing games coming Infernal just wont be one of them.

Based on 11 reviews it's score is 77.18% according to gamerankings.com ...that makes it a rental. Anything below 80% is usually a rental unless you loved the first one or series. That post of yours is ridiculous 77% is a great score and on here it got 8/10 that makes it a buy.
