@bgrosz: While I agree with most of your post, it's not that Carol could not figure out to hide. She was going to commit suicide. She was having a hard time moving past her loss.
@dancingcactus: I know there are, and sometimes those can be massive. Merchandising is the reason Disney's "Up" did not get a sequel, but "Cars" received two.
It definitely wasn't a net negative, but I'm sure they were not happy with the theatrical cume. I'm still open for a better part 2 though, and I hope I enjoy Birds of Pray.
@dancingcactus: You're not taking into account exhibitor fees, and entertainment taxes. Just on domestic, theatrical haul averages ~55%, and foreign is ~35%. That gives it a real return of around $330M, theatrically. If your $325M is correct, (which would include P&A costs) it might not have lost money, but it sure wasn't a success. No way were the producers happy.
@davillain-: I agree on waiting for them to have more than one compelling show, but once they do I'll just rotate it with another streaming service. Likely Amazon.
I only recently got into turn-based gaming, having played and loved Persona 5. I'm just not sure about this though, kinda looks too 'young?' Not sure the word, but the bad guys look like I should befriend them, not slay them.
This is a dangerous and not funny "prank". It should be classified as a 3rd-degree felony. That way just the act is a punishable crime, and if anyone dies it's felony murder.
@rawkstar007: If you just count Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix, you can rotate one every 4 months. They'll be far more than just 1 show after 4-8 months, plus they'll remember your saving and settings. That way you're not scrounging watching things you really didn't want to and can enjoy all the best shows of each streaming service without spending more. I know this is elite-level thinking and work for some people.
