OTH Season 6: So far so good!

I have to say, I'm really enjoying season 6 so far. It has had good stories, great acting, and a good timeline. Stories are not playing along for so long, to the point where I am saying okay already, lets get to the point. So here's a little break down of where we are after 3 episodes.

Lucas finally realized that his heart has always lied with Peyton and decided that it was time to be happy, so he picked Peyton. And I am happy that they didn't go through with the whole vegas wedding. They need their family and friends around them for that day. Peyton needs Brooke and Haley and even possibly Mia and Lucas definitely needs Nathan and Jamie not mention the guys, Skillz, Mouth, Junk and Fergie and of course he would also need Haley. So far with this story i am very happy!!

Next we come to the attack on Brooke, one thing I truly question here is why have her friends figured out that something more happened with Brooke than just falling down the stairs. They should know her better than that to think she would be so dramatized from falling down the stairs. Why does she have this sudden need to be SAFE and not want people around if she only fell downt the stairs. Especially Peyton she should have realized that there is a much bigger problem and she will kick herself when she does realize it. I'm very interested into seeing where this story goes and how everyone will find out what really happened.

Then we have the very weird Skillz and Deb fling. This I don't understand, how could Skillz start seeing his friend'd mom. I don't have a problem with big age gaps, but I have a problem when it's between your friend and your mom. This is just crazy and I guess on tomorrow's episode we will find out more.

We also have the Scott family and Q's death. Nathan starting to get his game back, Haley starting to get her musical life, family life, and teaching life all together, and Jamie just being a kid and then they all get hit with Q's death. Jamie being 5 years old and dealing with the death of someone he had grown so close to was heart breaking. He is so young and has had to deal with more adult issues and struggles than anyone should have to go through. He just needs to be a kid. I really enjoyed how Nathan and Haley were really being parents to their young son and tried to help him understand when they didn't even know what was going on. I really hope Nathan can continue to work on his game and Haley can get her music going again because they are so much better together when they are both happy doing their own things.

And finally we have Crazy Carrie and Murderer Dan. Why is it that I feel bad for Dan? He killed Keith and did so many horrible things but yet when being kept hostage you can't help but feel sorry for him and hate Carrie so much more. Dan is one of those people you love to hate and hate to love! And as for Carrie you just hate her! But we finally found out why she is so messed up. It is truly horrible to lose a child and for that I do feel sorry for her but if she knows what's it's like to lose a child why would she want to put another family in the same situation. She is just crazy and you never know what she will do next.

Well that's it for now, we'll see where the stories go from here and i'll be back for another update!

OTH: Season 5 Review according to me!

Well now that the season is over, I can now say that what we got this year wasn't enough!!! First off 18 episodes was not enough and some parts of the story were not enough! S5 wasn't my favourite season but I did enjoy it! Although there were parts I could have done without, but hey that's what makes the story interesting.

The whole Nanny Carrie situation was a little too much for me to handle. She was just to forward with everything. I have been a babysitter for many years and still am and i would never ever come on to a father like she did. If Nathan was a father i was sitting for (as much I as LOVE LOVE James) I could never hit on the father of the kids I'm watching. And when I go babysit, I am always careful as to what I wear, I'm not going to a club or a office job... I wear appropriate clothing to run around with the kids, not shirts cut down to my belly button and not skimpy bikinis. Anyways enough of Carrie, she got too much attention already...especially from Nathan which I was disgusted with, yes he's a man but he is married and he could have done a better job at turning Carrie away, like I don't know telling his wife or possibly firing the b****!!! Just a thought!!!

Next Lucas and his women!!! I absolutely loved the interaction and relationship that has developed between him and Brooke, very mature and enjoyable to watch. I'm not a Brucas supporter when it comes to a love connection but when it comes to a friendship, I support 100%. Lindsay, I thought was a great character and I enjoyed her interaction with Haley, but I did NOT like her with Lucas. Honestly I think he was not sincere with his feelings. It's way too obvious that he's still totally in love with Peyton, that for him to just string Lindsay along was just mean, just like when he did that to Brooke in earlier seasons. I don't think Lindsay deserved that. At the beginning of the season I really did not like Lindsay, then as the season went on I realized that i did like Lindsay, I just didn't like her relationship with Lucas. Anyways on to Peyton...Poor Peyton!!! I truly felt bad for her. Lucas was a complete jerk to her many times this season and Peyton didn't do too much to deserve it or there were some times but not always. When Peyton basically said "not yet" to Lucas proposal, I thought that Lucas' reaction was a slap in the face to Peyton and their relationship. When someone says they are not ready at that specific time especially so young at 20, it doesn't mean that your relationship is over. It just means they are not ready. If he truly wanted to marry her then he would have reacted with a little more understanding. Not everyone is ready to get married so young like Nathan and Haley. But we will see what happens with this never-ending love triangle next season.

Now onto my favourite Naley with the addition of the cutest kid in TV, Jamie!!!! I have been a Naley lover since the very beginning and am so happy that they ended the season on a good note, considering how they started the season. Their storyline for me was a little rocky as there were times when I thought that the story did need issues, but they can only handle so many. I feel like Nathan was ALWAYS the bad guy in S5. The first 4 seasons we saw Nathan grow up so much and become a really good man and sure he still had a few bumps in the road, but he dealt with them and grew up. So I thought all the things he went through this year was just a little much. First the bar fit that left him in the wheelchair and ripped him from his dream of basketball, then Haley hating on him for everything he did-like punching Jason, then the whole Carrie flirting and keeping it from Haley, and basically just acting like Dan, which I thought was so far from the man he grew to be. I thought towards the end of the season Naley really started to grow together, but I thought they could have been a little more understanding of each other the whole season. Haley did have a lot to deal with when Nathan was going through his whole Deb/Dan stage (drunk/jerk) especially protecting their son Jamie and trying to prevent him from seeing his father like that. But anyways they are working things out and are on a better road now.
Jamie was probably the best part of the season for me. Jackson is just an adorable kid who can really act. He is the 6th member to the group and is probably more grown up than the rest of them. Watching any scene Jamie is in, whether it be with Haley, Nathan, Skillz, Lucas, Brooke, was just amazing. The interaction between Haley, Nathan, and Jamie was just perfect; they seemed like a family who really just get each other. I can't wait to see more of that next season.

Brooke had some of the best storylines this year, with her B**** of a mother, Clothes over Bros clothing line, friendly relationships, and then the adorable baby Angie.
Peyton on the other hand only really had 2 stories: the music label and Lucas and for that I was disappointed. I wish we could of had a little more between all the girls. I thought she was actually acting very mature for the way Lucas was kinda throwing Lindsay in her face, although like I said earlier she did sink very low a couple of times like yelling at Lindsay, but I thought she picked herself up beautifully later on and grew from the situation. I hope next season we see a little bit more interesting storylines for Peyton.

So with my basic thoughts of the season over, I thought I would share some of my favourite and least favourite moments.

Least Favourite Moments:
-Lucas yelling at Peyton saying it's all her fault and that he hates her!
-Nathan watching Carrie skinny dip.
-Nathan not telling Haley about Carrie and her flirting, when he had the chance.
-Carrie kidnapping Jamie.
-Carriem "helping" Nathan put on his pants!!!

Favourite Moments:
-Haley's 'enough is enough' speech to Nathan about his drinking and self pitty.
-Haley, Nathan, and Jamie jumping into the pool.
-Haley singing "Feel This"
-Brooke standing up to her mom!
-Brooke with baby Angie, once she figured she could do it.
-Nathan rolling himself into the pool and then jumping out, saying he has too much to live for!
-Nathan and Jamie having dinner ready for Haley!
-Jamie's reaction when the head fell off the dummy at the soap box derby track! too cute!!!

I could go on and on...but I guess you can tell from the fact that I have more favs than not, I enjoyed the season...But really there were things that were missing and some that I didn't want to see at all. So I'll take this season as building ground for next seaon! Until next time!!!

OTH is back and is it what we wanted to see?

Well first off, I am so glad OTH is back!!! I could not be happier with that fact alone!!!

There are a couple thigns that they have done in this new season thatI absolutely love like Jamie, the cutest kid ever and the way this little kid acts is amazing...what a natural. I also like there are connections that still hold the main 5 together...well for 3 of them there kinda is a stronger bond because they are family, but that doesn't always keep people together! I also love the fact that they kept Mouth, Skillz, Junk, and Fergie around because you kinda get old OTH with them as well as new little storylines that really help our main 5 as well as bringing comedic relief when what the others are going through can be very dramatic!! There are many more things that I love about the new season but too many to list!

There a couple things about the new season that I'm not so happy with. I miss the adult interaction and differentwways of parenting you get from them. It added that little bit more of right hooks into the story. The past 4 seasons the kids were all kids but now they are "adults"...I say that because in a way they are still kids dealing with adult issues...it's kinda weird to see them at Tric and having drinks without fake IDs, even though the actors are quite a bit older than their characters it's still weird to see. Anyways a couple other things that are bothering me a little are: the way things are moving very quick, meaning Mouth/Alice (his Boss), Nathan just kicking the alcohol and be able to walk(it's not that easy to bounce back, I know people with similar situations) and the way LL are just there...I guess the upcoming epsiode of flashbacks will help us out but I still think they should have given us a little more before.

well that's it for now... definitely more to come especially to answer my question in the topic!!!

TV has changed!!!

TV these days has just changed. Once viewers get comfortable with the shows they're watching the stations move them around. Just because a shows ratings dropped on the slightest scale, that means the shows needs to move to a new time slot. By moving shows around too much, it just confuses viewers and takes our interest away. Let me tell you something, people don't want to have to follow the show as it bounces back and fourth, they want it to be on the same time every week, so they can sit back and chill as they get lost in the show, they don't want to have to keep checking the net or their TV guide to make sure that they don't miss their shows because yet again it's been moved. And what's with shows starting up in the middle of the season and taking over time slots for other shows?!?!?! I don't get it, why would you move one show which is doing great where it is only to put a new show in that spot and changing the original show to another spot, that just boggles my mind. Are you trying to lose viewers??? Anyways TV has changed, if FRIENDS can make it 10 seasons with good ratings in the original Thursday spot, why would you want to take the chance to move shows, when so many shows do much better in one spot instead of being moved all the time.
