Typical requirements for todays games. The recommended specs are not as high as I thought previously, so my 8800GTS should play this quite nicely.

CoD4 is going to be freaking amazing. Especially since it's being developed by Infinity Ward, not those noobs at Treyarch.

It may not be a super high resolution, but my 8800GTS 320 MB tears FEAR and BF2142 apart, with everything set on maximums. At this resolution, which is my monitors native, I expect such good performance when running Crysis or close to it.

Remember: Crytek is the king of optimization, and they seem to squeeze every last bit of theoretical capabilitiy out of a GPU (no matter what graphics card you use) with the pure efficiency of their programming and optimization standards, which is sadly rarely seen in PC games these days. Besides, 320 MB is almost a perfect texture/frame buffer for my resolution settings.

LOL Christ-sis. I think it's going to the game that becomes the envy of every console gamer who doesn't have a PC that can play it.

I love R6 Vegas, and I've clamoured at having a Wii version, as long as the Wii version was built from the ground up for the Wii, so it would look as good as it possibly could on the Wii and run as well as it needs to be.

WTF, Any game with shadow overlays (which are not real shadows) don't belong in this day and age. I really hope they polish up the game and how it looks. I have a feeling they were/are using the RE4 engine and doing nothing to make it look better.

Rainbow Six: Vegas for me. The whole cover deal I think was better implemented on R6 than Gears. GeoW = vastly overrated. Yeah sure it's pretty and gory, but at the end of the day, I enjoy R6 much more.

Desktops......duh. Doesn't mean a laptop can't be a viable gaming machine. If you want a high end laptop for gaming, be prepared to pay out the butt, and then expect the machine to be "on top" for a year.
