2 GB Data Cache (important) + 1 GB Updates/firmware (important) + 4 GB Crap (unecessary) = 13 GB free space.

That 7 GB is compiled of demos, crap, videos, more crap, and what not, and then 2 GB of that 7 GB perminently stays reserved as a data cache.

Alot of FPSs age pretty terribly but alot age wonderfully because for their time and even by today's standards they represent and provide a level of immersion that is either unparalleled or barely surpassed a la Half Life. I played HL1 for the first time in 2005 and I was amazed at how awesome it was.

The combination of the game being a classic and nostalgia will let a game maintain greatness status and that's usually how it is. Many old games are still great because they were and still are loads of fun and enjoyable. RE4 has only had one game copy it so far, and it was no where near as good (Cold Fear). Games like Final Fantasy and Xenogears hold up because of their indepth and incredible story, while older FPSs like Half Life and perhaps Far Cry (it's not that old) still maintain that magic because they did things that were innovative and involving in ways other FPSs that are much younger/newer just don't seem to achieve. It's always a combination of features that create a great gaming experience no matter how old the game is.

Well first of all MS doesn't make a 360 specific USB HDD.

Second of all, the system would need firmware to support a USB HDD, which it might, but I doubt it.

Currently there is only an analog VGA Adaptor available, which is what I use to connect my 360 to my PC monitor. A DVI Adaptor would be a nice idea, but the result of either cable gets the same results, even if one is digital and the other isn't.

Uh, no. FPS = First Person Shooter.

First Person means from a viewpoint of the eyes of the charactar, with the screen being their/your eyes. Gears of War technically falls in the 3rd person shooter category, but Cliffy describes the game as 2nd person due to the close up nature of the game, a la Resident Evil 4 and how attached you are with the charactar in a FPS sense but still with 3rd person mechanics.

Gears of War isn't an FPS in any sense and anyone who considers it such is either retarded or trying to throw it into the realm of FPSs to be compared.

Everytime a FPS is announced on a console people are like: "WTF! Why isn't it on PC?"

Then when it's finally ported to the PC people are like: "WTF! This sucks! Why was it ported to the PC?"

The devs made up their minds! It's going to be a console game, which means it's going to be dumbed down compared to a PC version. Do you really want to play it?

No, I want to play Crysis :D
