Just got a 360 today which was my first next gen console (and an utter ****ing dissapointment) . I was playing about with it having a look on XBox live market place looking at the demos section, and it occured to me. The Wii deserves to be pwning the 360 and PS3

Take the 360. Almost every demo you can download of it was either some crappy sports game or some kind of shooter/shooter derived game. Their is a distinct lack of variety on the console, nothing you can play with your family for example. Everything is single player or online based. It is a console for adolescents and single men . The games that do stand out in some way are mostly availible on the PC and look/play far better (take bioshock). The system is also not "fully next gen" thanks to Microsofts ridiculous SKU strategy and it is plagued with reliability problems. Did you download the viva pinata demo? heck the game is $20 thats family oriented.What about kameo(also a demo)? did you browse all the casual xbox live arcade games(the free arcade game like aegis wing heck my60-year old dad could understand that game). Did you download all the cool demos of soo many xbox live arcade games? small arms, worms etc most of those are very family friendly. not every game is on the pc and there is a downside(espically in bioshock with rootkits, only able to install twice etc..)What the heck is with this not fully next gen crap? by your logic neither is the wii so out of the three conles only ps3 is?

The PS3 (which i am getting in two weeks off a friend cheap) has a different set of problems problems. The console has a great deal more variety but there is practically nothing of any interest on the console until 2008. The price is also way too high and effectively prices most people out of the market (and will continue to do so for a few years at least). This coupled with Sony's confusing marketing strategy and conflicting messages (we dont need rumble!! now we do!!) has pissed off a lot of people. Great deal more varity? what the heck... this is not xbox vs. ps2 the ps3's best game right now is resistance which is a shooter, motorsotrm is a racer heck the ps3 only has one rpg out this ENTIRE year(folklore) while the 360 has four(mass effect, blue dragon, lost odyssey, eternal sonata) and other games, Ace combat six(flight simulater), viva pinata party animals(very very casual and family oriented), naruto(platformer/action adventure) not to mention all the non shooter games already out like kameo,overlord, pgr3, froza 2viva pinata, all the xbox live arcade games.

True about 2008 however still some good games like uncharted, heavenly sword. price yes very good point

The Wii is cheap, broadly apealing, has some great games coming this year (mostly exclusive) and has OK graphics. For most people that is enough and coupled with the "new way to play" and the included game/tech demo the Wii is an attractive proposition. good points and all true.

bad comparison the ps2 has like what 40% more games available than the GC? even if you are a complete fanboy you cant say the wii has the game advantage over the 360 the only thing that is separating them mainly is the price(yes yes motion sensing is great however is 90% of people who bought the wii owned a console before i am pretty sure they don't care because they bought other consoles without motion sensing

i think it will get 9.0 but its not like reviews are going to make a dent on this game its too big of a franchise for review sites to give it AA and expect a slow down in sales or something. Heck this doesnt even matter in system wars because every time i say this is going to be a AAAE for the 360 i get the whole "its going to eventually be on thepc so its not exclusive" crap.
