its cool i will pick it up next year for the 360 honestly even if it was coming out this year there are just so many fps coming out that i want to play this year i wouldn't be able to buy it.

It was hyped a FF killer or the FF for the 360 and was supposed to be the savior for the 360 in Japan. Overall it wasnt much of a system seller but the game sold well.
I do respect that fact that you dont allow scores to affect your purchase, I am the same way, but BD was hyped AAA easily.

I'd heard about the new heatsink. And recently have read a lot about the new chip, but no idea when they'll be implimented.
It was a really hard decision, picking between 360 and PS3... I may still end up getting both, just one will have to wait awhile after getting the other. If I get a 360 now, I'll probably wait at least a year before getting a PS3.
As for the PC vs Console thing: I do prefer playing games on console if I can. I'll play RPGs and FPS on PC if I have to, but the only genre I'll play only on PC is RTS.

the heatsink is confirmed to be implemented finally found the link i was talking about...
the new premium hdmi 360s have the new heatsink in them so that should help with RRoD but if you want to be even more assured you could wait maybe 2-3 months before the 65nm chips start showing up...for source go to joystick and find a news article they opened up the 360 and saw the new heatsink...

Yes xbox 360 games are hyped but at least we are reasonable with the hype. Cows go on hyping mediocre games like warhawk and lair like it is the second coming.
