According to quantum physics, something exists when there's an observer. As I understand it, something does not exist without the observer. You without the senses exist, for myself [because I observe you] but not for yourself [because you don't observe].
Examples:
A person born inside complete darkness (no senses) would not exist within himself, but he would exist for the observer -- the person outside the darkness.
Born in emptiness I see nothing but emptiness, I don't know myself since I can't compare myself:
"I and the emptiness; we are one and the same, we are everything but we're also nothing" - Identity
In other words, you would literally "exist", but only within the observer.
From my understanding, 3 unique things are required for something to exist: A (1), B (2), observer (3). If only 2, A and B would be one and the same. So 3 = you, me and "the rest".
Theory: Going from the second example, if you add another unique person into the emptiness (say light room), that would make 3: you, him, emptiness (consciousness, observer, reflection?). You act as an observer to him and vice versa: you exist because he is there to observe you, vice versa, but he needs to separate what is you and what is not you. Emptiness itself is what separates him and itself from being one and the same: now you see him and emptiness, knowing they're different.
Likewise, light can separate itself with darkness, but they're nothing without the observer.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
