@Fightingfan: If this is true then congrats, I know the feeling. I won an all expenses paid trip to Paris which I'll be going on in late March. First thing I've ever won! Bought Les Mis on Blu-Ray and entered the competition that was inside. I didn't think I'd ever get to go to Europe until I was an old man.

Also, haven't posted here in about 4-5 years so I don't think any of my old friends are here anymore!

[QUOTE="kdawg88"]Frankly, I think that a lot of people who label themselves 'atheists' are just ignorant and/or have never really gone through pain and suffering. Being an atheist requires real smarts and you must prove that God doesn't exist with real, scientific facts, instead of passing off religion as empty because you're so secure that you don't need to explore that side of yourself. I believe that the purpose of the human mind is not to have everything down to a science, because in reality that is impossible. We cannot comprehend all the workings of the world. KeitekeTokage

What are you talking about? Atheism is the lack of belief in Gods, that's it. It's not a claim its a rejection of a claim, it doesn't require evidence. The claim is that their is a God, Atheism is rejecting that claim on the basis that their is no evidence, which there is not, unless you'd like to provide some?..

You know, this argument goes both ways. How about YOU provide some evidence that there ISN'T a God? But wait, for you to prove your argument you would need to know everything about everything, and since you can't, there is no point in even trying.

Get neither, Kaspersky is a horrible program that significantly reduces the speed of your processor. I suggest a free Antivirus solution like Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials. Why pay for something you can get for free?

Well, it is highly recommended that you should reinstall all programs that you have.judog1
Agreed. You don't want any remaining traces of Vista on your computer. Horrible OS.

o ya, too answer your specific question, batman beyond's terry mcginiss is not any part of this movie. There were three robins i think... dick grayson, jason todd and tim drake. Might have been more but those are the main three that actually fought along side the bruce wayne batman i think.

bionicle_lover

Actually there are/have been 5 Robins. The forth was Stephanie Brown (AKA Spoiler) who was killed by Black Mask, and the current Robin is Damien Wayne who is the child of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul.

That movie is standalone and is based off the trade paperback novel series of the same name. Doesn't relate to BTAS at all. I love what DC has done with animation, they've always been better at it than Marvel, for about 20 years now. Can't wait for the new Green Lantern animated series. Also Young Justice was great and looks very promising.

I used to crack my knuckles and neck but I decided I didn't want to get arthritis and quit.

I'm sorry, but if you are so unoriginal that you can't come up with your own idea for a film, then you shouldn't be in the industry. Hollywood is pathetic and they need to stop bastardizing other peoples original works just to make a quick buck. That being said, it is possible to improve upon the original (ala True Grit), but that does not mean that it's a good thing to do. Come up with new and exciting ideas or get a real job.

[QUOTE="MrGeezer"]

[QUOTE="Dark_Knight6"]

Their motives became fairly obvious after they returned from a hiatus and then proceeded to record an album in a style similar to what had been very popular in around 2005-2006.

Dark_Knight6

How do you know that they didn't just want to try their hand out on that particular style?

Again...how do you know that their change was made specifically for the purpose of increasing sales, as opposed to just wanting to try their hand at something else? How do you know that they didn't just get sick of the current style that they were doing?

Yes. I suppose it is possible that they simply want to try every style as soon as it becomes popular and that it is in no way for monetary gain. It's also possible that a jolly fat man broke into my house tonight and left me presents. Both are highly unlikely.

Agreed. There's really no arguing against it. It couldn't just be a creative coincidence, their style keeps changing to be exactly what is 'in'. Right now it's crappy, cheap electronic sounding pop music, most likely autotuned.
