@dawnar @Tarbun84 @Riddick123 Fair play. I quite like consoles because I know I own a machine that will run a large range of games without having to upgrade or fiddle with settings. Its difficult to compare the two as they are designed for different types of gamers I suppose!

@dawnar @Tarbun84 @Riddick123 What I mean is you cant just compare specs! They run in very different ways. Need to compare clock speeds etc to be sure. We wont know how powerful it is until we can get our hands on it

@dawnar @Tarbun84 Yeah you cant beat mouse and keyboard for an FPS. I like the escapism of a good single player console game like AC or the new awesome Tomb Raider

I don't care enough to be called a fanboy, I play both PC and console games. I am pretty sure that consoles manage to bypass a lot of the extra processing a PC has to do with its OS. A console is designed to run games and a bare bones OS. Nothing more. But even if it is more powerful, PC will catch up with the spec and probably quite quickly. Still be fun to see how it all progresses.
