So, a lot of different things are going around about the hit blockbuster "I am Legend", so i figured, ill give it a review myself. First off, you need to see this movie, take it from me, its a very very good storyline. Now, where im hearing the complaints about itis the lack of action. Okay, for god sakesread the novel thatthis movie is based on, its NOT ACTION PACKED! its based a mans struggle tosurvive, not to fight off hordes of zombies(whichhe does a couple times throughout the movie) but still, this movie is based on reality, kind of like the "what would the normal human do in thiscircumstance". The CGI effects of theDarkseekers(those zombie things, but theyre not dead, so iwill just call them what they are called inthe movie)are pretty darn good. Yeah, theyre not all bloody and gory like wanted it, but again, they look just as i imagined in thenovel. I found the movie quite chilling at times, and the suspense is off the hook. That is one area i would really like to touch on, the suspense. For all i cared,the theatre seat didnt need a backrest, since it was never used. I was on edge the entire movie,as Robert Nevell(Will Smith) walked through darkbuildings, hunted the streets at night in a struggle to get back to somewhere safe, it was pure horrifying suspense. So, all in all, this movielives up to nearly all the positive hype it deserves. The movie is definately not boring,and people need to take this from a realistic standpoint. If you havent already, go see this movie! Ive seen it twice and im planning on a third. Igive this movie a 9/10. the 1 point being docked is for lack of expanding the idea after the ending. its justkind of like BAM its over, which ireally, reallywoudlve liked to have seen a so many years later,but oh well.
