By not having to render the linesmen for the whole match it saves on processing power. That is why they're only visible when they have made a decision and it cuts to them, I believe, unfortunately. Fewer figures equals better performance for the rest of the players.

I gotta say that probably won't run it fluently at medium, I would say possibly medium without shadows or low.

A friend of mine offered me his 2006 xbox 360 as it rrod and he has moved to pc gaming. It comes with about 20 games, hard drive and all the equipment that was boxed with the premium console. I was considering sending the console off to M$ however i noticed on Game.co.uk a Refurbished arcade console for£99 and i was wondering if its better off if i just buy this and use the accessories i'll get with the rrod console.

Thanks

If you put everything on full with AA etc it will still be a challenge even to my gtx 260 in some areas. A GT9500 WILL NOT RUN IT AT FULL WITH SHADOWS , but will run it at high without them.

8800 gt is the 9800gt. They're the same. 9600gt is just below the 8800GT and 9800GT.
