My thoughts exactly. I believe there will be only one more episode though?

If Episode 2 is all your after you can buy it stand-alone for 30 bucks I think.

I owned HL2 before hand, but even if I had played Episode 1 too; Portal, TF2, and Episode 2 is well worth 50 bucks.

If I buy either, it will be UT3. Right now I'm really just looking for a multiplayer game, and UT3 is an obvious choice right now. I'll see how much longer the Orange Box holds me over.

Ahhh WoW, I've been an off and on addict since release. I tried getting back into it a little after the expansion set, got to 63, got a job, and quit. It just really wasn't the same to me, I raided every day back in the BWL glory days, and quit the day AQ opened. I just could never get into it again, wasn't the same for me. I've thought about trying it out again when Lich King is released, but, I know with college I just won't have time. Plus, I always regret the time I waste with it.

Yes, you can play episode 2 without having half-life 2 or episode one. Its a stand alone game, but if you haven't played the first two I don't know why you would want to play episode 2.

if you want a satisfying single player, how are you gonna finish the game in a rental phase? unless you buy it later......

anyways, saints row is a great game, imagine gta3 with 360 steroids, condemned has a great singleplayer, but its kinda short leaves you wanting more, and deadrising will keep busy for HOURS. those are my choices. vivapinata is pretty good but it boring after awhile and Kameo just flat out SUCKS!!!

axes03

I can keep a rental for approx. 2 weeks. I highly doubt, with the exception of oblivion and maybe viva pinata, that any of those games takes longer than 2 weeks to beat.

First off, I appologize for making such a cliche topic. But, I do appreciate your input:

I finally got an xbox 360 earlier this week. I want to rent a couple games for the weekend tomorrow. I'm leaning heavily towards a more satisfying single player game, as opposed to a multiplayer one. I currently have Gears of War and R6:Vegas. As of now I'm trying to decide which two games I want to rent out of:

Viva Pinata
Saint's Row
Condemned
Dead Rising
Oblivion (Debating this one, I was a huge morrowind fan, and am thinking I should just wait and buy this one)
Kameo

Please give me your input, and any reasoning to why is also welcomed. Thanks!
