Think of it this way though: If they drop the price, there is a high probability that the console will start selling a ton more units. If the console started selling more and had a higher player base, then there is greater probability of getting some better games since they will likely sell more on the PS3. This in turn will put more money in Sony's pocket from software sales.

As it is now, from a business standpoint it is smarter to publish on other platforms due to a much higher probability of selling more units.

but as well we will have to put up with brainless gamers like the ones that turn up on the 360.

if they were to drop the price they would need to bring money in some way else (online subscription like 360). i would be more a fan of giving free headsets with the ps3.

i think thats the only good thing regarding the ps3. the headset that comes with the console as this leads to a much more social atmosphere. but then again it would do your head in if you just wanted a nice quiet gaming session.

At the moment my ps3 is downstairs connected to the wireless box via an ethanet cable. this all works fine no probs. but while trying to connect to the box from my room (which is in the loft if that makes a differece) during test connection it cannot contain the ip address as the service timer runs out before hand. tried putting the ip address in manually but still same problem.

help would be appeciated.

Don't need any cables for wireless. it has the wireless module built in. Plus, be sure you have the information entered in correctly. and I know how to get free wifi interenet on a game console, and this is perfectly legal, because the tools required are still avaliable through stores, and internet. If you want to know, get the latest issue of " Popular Science " it has a picture of the new B-2 Stealth bomber, set for 2018. If there is a later issue of Popular Science, buy the last 2 issues.

yeaaaah i know no wireees are needed but as cant connect wirelesslly ive brought it downstairs and connected it to the box.
