This marks Henrik Larssons return to international football. The first half was pretty uneventful with an early booking for Charisteas of Greece. Greece have edged the possession so far, both sides have had 3 shots and Greece had 2 on target where as Sweden only 1. Predominantly the Swedish strike force have been the best players on the pitch for their hard work in the first half. Despite having less possession I feel Sweden will go into half time as the happier side.

I thought it would take some magic and magic is exactly what it took. After Sweden scrambled a goal early in the second half Greece pressed on the Swedish Defence until one chance for Sweden turned into glory, man of the match Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a screamer from the edge the box to secure the points.
