Well, I'm not updating my work day as it was nothing special other then going crazy over U-Hauls. No trucks anywhere in the midwest :|

Anyways now on to my story. Tonight was the last week of bowling league for the summer. My friend Alex and I where in the roll off for the first time. The situation was simple, Win all 3 games with handicap and win the league. However lose 1 game and you get second. Actually it looked more like this:

1st place team: To win, Win 1 game

Alex and I: To win, Win all 3 games

3rd place team (brother and cousin): To get second, Alex and I lose 2 games, they win 2

4th place team: To get second, Alex and I would have to lose all 3, and they would have to beat the 3rd place team all 3 games for Second.

Well, Alex and I started off really well. Winning by over 200 pins the first game! 1 down 2 to go. Well, 2nd game we won again by about 30 pins thanks to my spare pick up in the 9th frame.

- Ohh, the 3rd place team that consist of my brother and my cousin beat the 3rd place team that consist of my sister and another cousin by 5 pins overall.

Ok, now onto the 3rd game. Alex and I started strong by sparing the first 4 frames. One kid on the other team however decided to go for 7 strikes to end the game. That right there killed Alex and I. We lost the last game in the "do or die" situation by 70 pins thanks to that guys 7 last strikes.

The worst part of it all is. I pulled out my Minnesota Vikings Daunte Culpepper jersey. The Vikings are known to fall short on big games. I guess the curse follows right back to me.

The game could have gone better. However I'm pretty down on myself right now. I'm pissed that I always come in 2nd. Always the 1st loser. I just always feel like I'll always be the one in the shadow.
