A little gaming background

Writing this before bed so a little tired. But first gaming experience was on a Texas Instrument TI 99/4A. Lots of Burger time logged :) Some NES game time when I was over at his house. Then moved to a 386 when my uncle gave us (the family) the computer. Lots of Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny logged. And various DOS games that were on the computer. Computers are starting to get a hold of me. Then, when my uncle upgraded his computer again, we got his 486/33. Now we are moving up to DOOM and Jill of the Jungle. Also, MASS amounts of The Incredible Machines logged. Then he installed Duke Nukem 3D :) Getting introduced to game lag now. Also around this time, I was given a SNES for Christmas that included Donkey Kong Country. Computers have a strong hold on me now. From there, I moved to a PSX in 1998, was the Dual Shock version. PC is still my main focus. Going a head a bit, mom buys a Dell with a Celeron 800Mhz processor. Starting to play Counter-Strike at buddies house, getting introduced to online games. 2001: Max Payne is the greatest game I have played to-date. Getting more in to computers and how they work. Upgraded video card, and messing around with Windows more. Get in to Half-Life on my own now, still no internet. Getting more in to Counter-Strike now at my sisters house, since she had internet. 2003: First computer build ever. No help. Common sense from taking many things apart as a kid, and messing around with our computers. Bought a PS2 and Xbox, but god rid of both quickly because I was not even touching them. PC gamer strong at hard and hated the controller. 2005: Built a gaming rig for my Senior Project. In to online games more than ever. 2007/2008: Left PC gaming behind (biggest mistake ever) to focus more on school. Bought a laptop and a PS3. Could hook up a mouse and keyboard to play UT3 to get my FPS fix. Still completely hate playing FPSs with controllers. Current: The rest is history. Still have my PS3, laptop got stolen recently. Have a true appreciation for console games and shooters on a console. Though, the BEST way to play ANY shooter is with a mouse and keybaord :) And is and always be the best platform :) Did a year at ITT before I moved back home but that didn't work. Moved back to the state my sister lived in when I finished high school. I stay pretty much on top off all technology, and keep up with a lot of gaming, even when I can't buy games when my paycheck is gone before I even get it. I missed a lot of points I wanted to get at, but mainly just a HUGE tech nerd and love all technology, whatever it may be.
