TT officially announced!

Today, March 1st, TT was officially announced on On the Spot. Look near the end of the show for a trailer and a interview with the lead artist for the show. It's looking ggggrreeeaaatt! OTS link P.S. I still firmly believe that the Trivia Robot will be the true enemy of the series and will be bent on video game destruction.

TT Friday update:

MrGames1x: With the following link attached: http://nuke.com/ Which bills itself as: "NUKE.COM goes to extraordinary lengths to secure the rights to your favorite games of the past, as well as develop all-new, never before seen games that truly capture that retro feel."
Basically capturing and saving old retro games was the point of the original TT episode. Not to mention the site looks like it was made in 1995. :-P

Time trotters?

So recently on the GameSpot live union page [and the OTS live feeds] we have been seeing snippets of a new cartoon that GameSpot looks to be producing. By the looks of it it seems to be a flash based animation, similar to Happy Tree Friends. Looking at the MrGames1X profile they show different "hints" at time travel. Abe Lincoln, a Egyptian themed vehicle, and Jeff and Ryan running through what appear to be ancient ruins [or Mortal kombat backgrounds]. Hopefully the Trivial Robot himself will be the mastermind villain behind the series, and hopefully it will be a regular series and not a one time show. More speculation as it comes about. Cake forever.

Stop the system wars!

Why the system wars? There is no way anyone is going to be right. You saying "System X is better than System Y!!!!!!" will do nothing to actually ensure the success or failure of the system. Heck being a jerk about it just confirms in that persons mind that the proponents of that system are just a bunch of immature kids.

And arguing about games? Seriously? No offense but anyone who argues about games as being proof that your console is better needs to truly look at what they are saying. You can NEVER prove a console is better based on games. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. I like RTS games and not sports. You might be different. So my ideal game is very different from you. So how could I say that my system is better than yours based on games when I am severely biased based on what I like and dislike?

You can argue on hardware, lifetime, and accessories. But never facts that are entirely based on personal likes and dislikes. It is similar to picking the best book of all time. No two people will agree.
