I've noticed a rather uninspiring trend recently in Team Fortress 2. I took a break some months back because I had to focus on school preparing for my exam last November. And since I came back in the new year, I've noticed that a lot of people have stopped working together. Matches will start off fine, but then at some point everybody changes classes and everything just turns to poo.

I was playing a match yesterday on 2fort, and this happened. we went from a well balanced team to 4 scouts, 2 snipers, 2 spies and me... an engineer. We lost the match. Now I'm not saying we would have won for sure had the others done what I said, I'm just saying we wouldn't have lost 0-3. I just like to go out with some dignity

So what's the deal? Has the whole world been infected with the virus of retardation? And also, can anyone point me in the direction of a few active servers where this problem may not be so prominent?
