Fantastic LOCAL Co-op games

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - My cousin and I played through this and had a very grand time.

Scott Pilgrim VS the world - A side scrolling beat em up, very fun with RPG aspects, only 800 MS points.

Dead Nation (PS3) - Another great game, shoot em up with RPG aspects, no fighting over money in this game, it is a fantastic idea!

I would recommend all 3 of these games to anybody.

Zelda Phantom Hourglass...HORRIBLE GAME

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD

What in the heck were they thinking? I've beaten several Zelda games before, actually beaten all zelda games I started, except this one, I put it down after getting the 3 spirits and heading BACK down into the Ocean King Temple. Really though, were they thinking this would be fun? It's time for bullet points.

-Awkward controls at sea when things get hectic

-Bow and Arrow Minigame....TERRIBLE

-Tapping to attack something but instead moving into them

-Leading the sisters in the ghost ship around.....frustrating

-Going Back, BACK BACKKKKKK into the Ocean Temple over and over.....AND HAVING ALL TRAPS\DOORS\PUZZLES RESET

EVERY TIME

-Invincible roaming guards that you have to hide from....that only get faster the farther down you go, and they all 1 hit kill you.

All that BS and they strap a timer on the whole ordeal, terribly unfun if you ask me, I put this game down...the only zelda game I started and will not complete. I hope Spirit tracks is better.

Catching up on Console gaming

I have been playing an EQ emulator for the past 15 months but now I have given that up and come back to console gaming! In the last few weeks since I've been back I finally completed Fallout 3's DLC and also Assassin's Creed 2. Next I was going to finish up Red dead redemption or start in on Mass Effect 2.

Any other games I should play from the last 15 months that I really missed out on?

Machinarium

If you are into old school adventure point and click style games such as the King's Quest series, this game will not disappoint. I purchased this game for 10$ from http://machinarium.net/blog/2009/12/16/amanita-design-christmas-pack-machinarium-samorost2-for-10-60-off/for a couple more days, it comes included with another adventure game from the same company called Samorost2 which I have not played yet. It took me about 6 hours to get through Machinarium and I enjoyed every minute, although it can be very challenging at times. Please, if you are at all interested in these types of games, give this a purchase and support an indie company that deserves your money.

edit: Also, it runs on almost any PC, mostly hand drawn 2D (awesome art **** with some light animation from the characters. And it comes with the soundtrack, which to me was unique and refreshing, I have it on my MP3 player!

Demon's Souls...100 hours and counting

I can't believe this, I haven't put this much time into one game since final fantasy 7\final fantasy tactics. I am so addicted to this game It's hard to think the time has gone by this fast. I have 2 characters, one melee, one magic and the game is very different for both of them, but the PVP aspect is what is keeping me hooked, I have over 400 multiplayer sessions (mostly invasions), it's just too much fun! Here's hoping for Demon's Souls 2, it has sold past Atlus' expectations from what I've heard so a sequel should be inevitable.

Demon's Souls!

I want Demon's Souls so bad, but my buddy is making me wait until December when he gets his PS3 so we can play it at the same time. Oh, the torture!

New computer is built and functional!

Well, I've been playing some games on my new comp for the last few days and everything is going well, it seems like all things are functioning properly. Here are my final stats:

Processor: Intel i7 920 Quad Core

Motherboard: Asus P6T Deluxe V2

Memory: 6gb Corsair Dominator 1600 (triple channel)

Power Supply: Corsair 850W Single 12v rail

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar Black 7200rpm 640gb

Case: Cooler Master 932HAF

Video Card: Radeon 4850 X2 1gb

So far it runs TF2 and The Witcher in the highest settings with no hiccups at all, can't wait to try out crysis to see how I do. I have been wanting this computer for so long and finally set aside enough cash to buy it! I have a video of it that I will post on youtube.
