Ok, on a more serious note, din anyone else notice the aparently small number of reviews for this game? I mean, it's been out for a while and I'm curious what my favorite gaming site has to say about it...

Well, there's Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, where you can control soldiers individually.

Then there's also Wargasm (stop laughing) and Battlezone, which offer something similar. And like somebody else said earlier, there's Rise & Fall, where you can control your heroes on the battle ( in a similar fashion to what Dinasty Warriors offers)
