Playing 2 games in a series doesn't make you that big of a fan if the series is that far different and not that big in the first place... it is a fun game and not GTA 1234 or 5 so should stop being compared to it as such... The game Is just another open world game that has missions and allows for many random things to be done... There is a slight story but to be honest don't get upset over it just enjoy what it is (a game) or don't... There are always other alternatives of similar design.
Perhaps this is a way to weed out mod gamers and those who use burnt games.... this way you could only get a new game and yes the developer does not loose money... yes sony does not loose money... but the gamers that like the true game get a chance at playing on pure system of gaming without the bull crap of lag switches, mods, copied games and other things of that sort.... This way everyone plays fair on the same game type with the same system from there own disc... Yeah it my cost you... but you never know they may lower the price of the game due to the change... the prices of games have changed from each system based off of what is put into the system and what is usually done one the games... but if this is put into the system perhaps they will be selling the games at a slightly lower price than usual.... who knows. Sony likes a tight system and I think after the last situation with the network going down... they want to find ways to get rid of the "crap".... that's it.
The average add thy place are like commericals... Not something you want to see just there on something you pay for.... and if you just so happen to scroll over it or anything of the sort you get this loud advertisement going off and you never wanted it in the first place!
