You want a headset that's affordable, and has killer sound. Get a set of these. Not expensive, and the best sounding and most confortable I've ever hard.

Im not looking forward to this, I work in it and we've been using the new office 365 for about a year now, and its a nightmare. If this happens, Ill get a cheap laptop for my daily needs, and convert mt PC to the Steam OS (which I've been thinking about dual booting to anyhow.)

Ive used AVG and Avast in the past, both are good anti-viruses. Right now, I am using the free version of Avira Antivir Personal (free). Its excellent as well. Just one thing that might annoy you. Every now and then, usually once per day, it will pop up ads trying to get you to buy the full version.

Steam for those releases that require it. Otherwise, I'm like BeyondPain, I prefer to get my games retail. Games aren't getting any smailler, even with broadband, games are big anymore. 2 DVD's isn't tht unusual.

I would consider it. And you dont have to go though GFWL to get the Fallout 3 expansions, they are avaiable on disc legally. If they did the same if Lost and Dammed, id have to think about it. Depends on release date though too.

You will be fine running it. I don't know why the system requirements are so high on the box. I'm running it on a e7500 (O'Ced to 3.16 Ghz) 4gb DDR 1066 Radeon 4670 1gb Vista Home Premium 64bit. Just keep AA turned off

Okay, so I can get Windows 7 for a decent price thanks to being a student, but is it worth getting on this system?

CPU: 2.2Ghz Dual Core

GPU: ATI 4650

Ram: 2Gb (The only of these 3 things that I can afford to upgrade at the moment, so I can bump this up if needed xD)

I'll primarily be using this rig for gaming (yes, I'm aware it is starting to get a bit old now) so I'm wondering if Windows 7 would be worth purchasing?

Yes it is. Im running it on a 2.9Ghz dual core, and its awesome. Im running it on 4gb and 64 bit. So far, no problems with old software working, Ive got Need for Speed Most Wanted and Oblivion installed and playing. runs like a champ compared to vista, and the new taskbar, well, awesome, just awesome, kills apple's dock. No need to get ultimate, Home Premium or Pro will suit 95% of ppl's needs
