She's real. I saw a news story on her recently. They were going to operate on her, but she chose to stay the way she was. I guess in the end, it's all about liking yourself.

I'm always getting attention from 12-17 year olds. When I tell them I'm 26, they tell me to pull out my ID. It gets irritating because I'm trying to attract girls my own age. I get carded EVERYWHERE I go. I had been growing my hair out for a while to make myself look older. I recently cut it all off and it's gotten worse. It also doesn't help that I'm only 5ft tall. I've got nieces and nephews taller than me. I've got one sister shorter than me (4ft 11"). I rub that 1 inch in her face all the time.

[QUOTE="Nifty_Shark"]They should watch that one movie. The one where a guy gets screwed and he has to coach the girls basketball team instead of the guys. The girls are awful and haven't won in years. He starts to turn things around (it takes a while) and eventually they get a state championship. I believe it was based on a true story too.Nifty_Shark

Sooo many movies about bad sports teams being made good by a good, inspirational coach, it's not even funny:|

This one was from an earlier time when there wasn't gender equality. Set somewhere in the south. A girl got pregnant and had to leave the team for one year. Maybe those hints could help. I don't remember the movie title.

A League of Their Own?

I can understand why people are so upset over this, but come on. If the sporting bigwigs at the school were so concerned about the losing team, they would have never made the match-up in the first place, seeing how the losing team already had disadvantages before the game was even made. They had to know that it wouldn't be pretty. I commend the losing coach for not throwing in the towel. It teaches the girls that life has big dissappointments, but you have to learn to take them in stride. The girls didn't even seem to mind the loss. It was the adults setting the bad example in my opinion.

Here's the basic story on Yahoo!: Two high school aged girls basketball teams were playing against each other. The losing team was obviously outmatched. The winning team's school felt the win was shameful, embarrassing, against Christian morals, and demanded the winning girls have their win scratched off. When the coach refused to apologize for his team winning by such a large margin, they fired him! I can't believe people are making such a fuss over a game! This country is becoming so soft that soon everyone will strive for mediocrity because no one will want to challenge themself to be better than they are. If you work hard toward being the best in a particular field, should you let someone else who hasn't, can't, or has difficulty working as hard as you win just so they don't get outshined to badly? If you are in a direct competition with someone, should you pity them and go easy on them? I say ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Especially when it comes to sports at the high school age and beyond. The whole reason for competition is to find out who is better at something. If everyone's hand is raised in the end, how is this not teaching people that it doesn't matter if you never try to become better than you are because others won't take you seriously. They'll just give you a handout. In my opinion, if I were on a losing team, I would feel worse if my opponent pitied me and held back instead of giving me their all to the bitter end. I enjoy being challenged, just as many atheletes do. If you never get challenged in something as simple as a sport, how do you intend to function in the "real world" where everyday has a new challenge? There are no hand-outs for the average person. They have to have their goals and do whatever it takes to reach them regardless of what others say, think, or do. I'd hate to see what our country looks like when the young, brilliant minds overseas begin to make all of the innovations we could have if we'd only learned to push ourselves beyond our failures. Agree with me? Disagree? I'd like to know what you think.

BAT 2 was the first 3D fighter I ever played. I hate it when companies stamp the name of a nastalgic brand onto a game that has nothing to do with the original. A good example would be GoldenEye. Remember the one that came out a couple of years back?
