@off3nc3: 1) Consoles have the biggest and most lasting communities? PC players jump ship every 3 months? Where do you get this from? 8 of the top ten games on Steam are over a year and a half old. 5 of them are more than 3 years old. Team Fortress 2 sits in 5th place and is 10 years old this month. World of Warcraft is coming up on it's 13th birthday and we are getting reports that their subscriber numbers are back up over 10 million again. At last report League of Legends (an 8 year old game) had 100 million unique players per month. That's a higher unique player count than the total number of PS4's and Xbox One's sold to date. That means its a single game with a higher player count than all of the "biggest and most lasting" communities from consoles combined.

2) This is a moot point. We have to wait, yes. Everyone knows that is the cost of playing on PC. You could apply the same logic about collecting exotics to "you get the play mission 2 of the campaign all the way to completion ahead of the PC world". Yeah the game came out 2 months earlier on console so of course you are going to have completed it by the time it comes out on PC. So what? If you don't want to wait, by all means, play it on console. Is someone else already having completed the content on the console version going to impact me waiting and playing on PC? No.

3) We actually will see it. It will come to PC the same time it comes to Xbox and it's really not that big of a deal. It's not like 50% of the game is locked behind exclusivity. It's 1 strike, 1 mp map, 1 gun, 1 ship, and some armor. Not worth IMO. Especially when we will get it next year anyway.

4) You can strike this point off your list as well since they've already said everything besides the PS4 exclusives will launch day and date on PC from here on out. Including the first expansion in December. If you think about it we will actually have less down time between the release of the game and the first expansion due to this delay.

Please don't take this as a PC elitist "don't play on consoles, PC Master Race" post. Some people prefer consoles. Play there if you want to. There is no issue with that. But don't just make stuff up about PC and try to drive other people away from it when you obviously don't know much about the platform.
