I wouldn't say Sony is manouevering back to the top spot, although becoming profitable is pretty good for Sony. Problem is though, Blu Ray as a medium got dealt a huge blow a few months back when the Porn industry adopted the HD DVD instead of Blu Ray, since the Porn industry accounts for over 60% of Home movie sales. Also, the Wii is destroying both the 360 and the PS 3 in sales, so Sony has some really stiff competition, and it's gonna take more then a price drop and profitabilityto reverse the horrible fortunes they've been having this Generation.(That's what Final Fantasy 13 is for )

Remember this, as big as MGS 4 is gonna be, FF 13 is gonna be the gamebreaker. The system that has FF wins, and I'll be wiping the dust off my PS 3 when that baby drops. You just can'tlose when you havea Black Mageon your side :)

I'd say, with RPG's, start at PS!. I would Say SNES, but it's almost impossible to find one. PS 2 is backwards compatible, so you can get the Final Fantasy Anthologies for the SNES RPG goodness, although it isn't a full representation, or you can pick up some of the really Good Gems, like Vagrant Story, Xenogears or Valkyrie Profile. Lunar Silver Blue Complete and Lunar Eternal Blue Complete were also awesome. PS 2 wasn't a slouch either in the RPG department, with Kingdome Hearts 1 and 2, Final Fantasy X and XII, Shadow Heart games, Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2. The list goes on and on......

A continuation of Chrono would be AWESOME.

But the game they absolutely have to remake is Kid Icarus, that game was the **** for the original Nintendo.

Ah well, yet another PS 3 Game gone multiplatform, and now there's talk FF 13 is gonna go multi too. You see Sony? That's what happens when you price your console out of the reach of the average gamer.

By the way, has anyone else noticed that Microsoft still hasn't turned a profit on the Xbox line of merchandise? That's what happens. Microsoft doesn't care about losses, their pockets are limitless, so they can afford to pay more then sony to get exclusives. It's ruthless business, something Microsoft is known for. What's really gonna be interesting though is 2nd and 3rd year development, when people start seeing the PS 3 Hardware get pushed to it's limit, which is gonna be WAY beyond what the 360 can do, and the price of the PS# has fallen, then we're gonna see what happens. However, in these first two years, Sony is gonna get seriously beat up.
