Well, I bought Red Faction and rented InFAMOUS.

I am very happy with Red Faction. It blew my expectations from Mars to Uranus (The planet, you perv).

I am glad I didn't get Infamous. It was definitely a renter, but I would have been disappointed if I bought it. It was fun for the first hour, then got a little boring.

Thanks anyway guys!

nahh im taking a break from fps at the moment so i will be ready to play the big title like modern warfare 2, battlefield bad compnay 2, mag, and such like that. it does look ok tho

...The only part of that post on-topic was "does look ok tho". I don't care for any of those games you mentioned, Muller. I like Singleplayer games. I stopped playing online FPS's when I bought counterstrike and realized that inernet FPSes are loaded with children. Even the 18+ servers still end up with 13 year olds on them. I wouldn't have a problem with it if I were a child. :) I plan to get RF:G now. I was going to get InFAMOUS, then I read up and watch videos of both, and apparently, I would hate Infamous and love RF:G. Research FTW. I'm grabbing it tomorrow. How is it?

Muller, did you happen to read anything past the title like the post right above yours?

If you give a man a gun and he robs a bank, is it the gun maker's fault, your fault, or his fault? It's not the gun maker's fault. How would they know? This is the most far out-there answer. It's not your fault. If you hadn't given him the gun, he would have gotten another gun. According to the Phil, it's the gun makers fault. That's what happens when you call some nutjob without a degree "Doctor".

Isn't LFD2 DLC in disguise? I could mod a LFD2.

I would recommend backing away from both of those. With the same PC, you can play something much better like Crysis, Fallout, and later this summer Red Faction. If you look at the gamespot ratings and user ratings of those games, you'll see why. Out of the two, I would definitely do Wanted.

InFamous is a MUST BUY for anyone with a PS3, no if's and's or but's. GO BUY IT NOW.

If I decide I want Red Faction instead, I won't get Infamous. But, I played the InFAMOUS demo, and I really do not like the combat system. (An if, and and a but. I obviously didn't listen.) I read up on Red Faction and it has more weapons/upgrades the Infamous has powers. Also, apparently, you can destroy everything, you can skip missions and still beat the game, carjack people, etc. Overall, I'm really leaning red faction. I think it has more freedom then any other game I've played.

I generally love open-world games. The more freedom, the better. I have heard Infamous has incredible freedom of movement even though the combat lacks, while in Red Faction you can break everything that a human built. I am leaning towards Red Faction, but I don't know that much about it. I played both demos, and liked them both. I THINK I liked Red Faction better if the timer is only in the demo, but it was too short to tell. I own: Force Unleashed (I give it a 7/10. I like to break stuff, but the game doesn't let you break much) Metal Gear Solid 4 (7/10, too much cinematic) Grand Theft Auto 4 (8.5/10, the game itself is fun and innovative for me, but it's lack of content disturbs me. It lacks the appeal of San Andreas.) Motorstorm (9/10, awesome for a racing game, but, being a racing game, it is too linear for me. 9/10 is because there isn't much vehicle customization. I don't take away ratings things because they're not my genre. And that's why I never read IGN.) I would take Destruction over car-jacking any day. But, torturing the public with awesome superpowers seems fun too. People who have both games, which do you recommend Edit: Please use the Game recommendation Thread next time when asking for recommendations. Thanks.
