For most 360 gamers, Blue Dragon is going to be a hard sell, but for that sliver of the community that longs for a return to the days of Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, you simply couldn't do any better. Without question, it's one of the longest games available on the 360, clocking in at roughly 60 hours depending on how quickly you blaze through it. For huge anime/JRPG geeks like us, Blue Dragon is a fantastic game as long as you can make it through the first few plodding hours and don't mind the hyper-cute character design. Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to go see if we can pick up a version of the boss fight music without the lyrics for future karaoke parties.

FINALLY, a good and fair review! I can't wait for this game. :)

BioShockOwnz

Wow, they are basically calling it the dragon quest that never was (DQ ripoff).

And....because other people didn't give it a good score means they weren't fair?

Aside from that, I've played the demo and didn't like it. It got a 7.9 from IGN, and they tend to be more rewarding than gamespot....

it is my most hyped PS3 game (9.0 in hype thread). hopefully the game won't be a button masher which the demo indicatedTheBigDrat
The demo showed it wasn't a button masher though. And, the devs said that in the demo, you might be able to slide by with that, but not in the later levels when there are more foes, and more deadly enemies.

And TC really needs to get a life. If you want a game to fail, then you are just really pathetic. AAA all the way!

[QUOTE="MikeE21286"]So hold on, lemme get this straight....If I wanted to play just the guitar....I have to buy the guitar ($60, or $80 on 360) and the game itself (another $60)? WTF is that? They don't bundle the game and the guitar together?cyborgjak427

They do, they bundle: the game, a guitar, a microphone, and a drum set.

don;t forget the Bass! At least I think there's a bass...
