Assassin's Creed 2 - PS3 (review)

Alright, a few weeks ago I bought Assassins Creed 2 for the PS3. I have to say, out of all the games i've ever played, this is BY FAR the best of them all (although I am yet to get a chance to play uncharted 2, which I think might top AC2). Assassins Creed 2 is a genuinly beautiful, strategic yet intense game. It takes you back to the Italian Renaissance, where you are a new character named Ezio, who is alot deeper than Altair was in the previous Assassins Creed. Ezio is an interesting, lovable, and funny character - that really gives the game a larger sense of realization. The graphics for the game itself blew me away, and - next to Uncharted 2 - I think they are the best graphics available for a consol game out there today. It is crisp, clear, and overall - beautiful, save for a few visual glitches, such as when you are going up to a chest to loot in, and you loot it before you get there - you sort of teleport to the chest. The gameplay itself is fairly challenging, fun, intense, and puzzling at times. The game leavse you with 20 glyphs around the several cities that you must decipher challenging puzzles, as well as later in the game when you find all the Codex pages, you have to allign them properly so that - when in Eagle Vision - you can see a map of the world where the second piece of Eden is. The classic counter-kills from the first Assassin's Creed are still here, and still as epic. Even though there weren't many new moves, there are a variety of new weapons - including a blacksmith shop where you can buy your own upgraded swords and armours as you progress further through the game. I won't give away the ending, but I will say that it very interesting, and that Assassin's Creed III, is going to be amazing! Anyways, I give this game 10/10, an amazing piece of great talent! -§£AN
