@Katz Well, that's kinda hard to say considering how little we know about the 720/Infinity/Durango. Might want to wait and see what Microsoft is going to bring to the table before declaring Sony the winner of a not even started console war . . .

@grognard @TheGamerPhenom Oh, I'm right there with ya. I happen to be a pretty big guy, so a smaller controller isn't exactly the best sounding news for me. But I'm going to remain open minded until I actually see it in action.

@grognard Just depends on what we're talking about changing. I can see scenarios where the controller will be more comfortable/better, but I also really like the current controller. It's all just more rumor and speculation until we can actually see what it's like and get some actual viewing of it.

@Banyek @KommonSinse I doubt it hurts them. Ultimately, they could announce it a month from now, and as long as it has strong specs that are at least going to rival the PS4, it's going to have strong success. BUT . . . they've only hurt themselves more as you said if this isn't at least as good as what everyone is expecting. It doesn't have to be an out of this world presser, but it needs to be a strong one.

@Hellhound30x Doesn't make it morally correct, which is why people are complaining.

@jinzo9988 @TheGamerPhenom Then you are a prime example of why this is such an issue. Greed drives the market. Again, what you clearly must have missed is that from a business/legality standpoint, Nintendo can do this all they want. I've admitted that more than once. Morally, they look like tools who are money hungry for no reason.

@jinzo9988 The other thing is this. Why does it matter to you how these people make their money? If there is a large contingent of people who enjoy it, deal with that fact and move on. You're acting like one of these LPers stole your money or something, or forced you to watch their content, which just isn't the case.

@jinzo9988 @TheGamerPhenom Morally, what right does that company have to that content once I've purchased it? Whether or not they can legally do this isn't what's being discussed. Morally, Nintendo has made a big gaffe with this move.

As for the whole "doing commentary over their own things" argument, these people are skilled in how they respond. Much like a comedian comes up with jokes, much of the reason people watch LPs is because the person playing is entertaining, not so much the game. I've watch LPs of really crappy games just because the person doing it is funny, or entertaining. That is why they should be more than allowed to produce their content.

@jinzo9988 And those people provide entertainment for many people. My job requires me to sit at a computer and enter data and do accounting work. I suppose my job isn't "legitimate" either, right? They provide entertainment, and many put in a large amount of work to provide entertaining content. Who are you to judge what they do?

@humblebundle23 My only guess is that they overestimated how much they will lose from lack of interest that is generated now, and how much they'll gain from these adverts they place on a now waning number of videos.
