I have been playing BFBC2 for awhile on my laptop, its a msi gt627 specs at bottom. For the first bit of gaming, either on single or multiplayer it will run flawlessly, settings are set to low. But anywhere between 8-20 minutes of gameplay It will start to chug, hard. The only temporary soution is to restart the game, but ultimately the same thing will happen. I haven't experienced anything like this in any of my other games that I play on my laptop (CoD4, Batman, Mass Effect, Fallout3, Borderlands). I haven't tried reinstalling it but it is on steam so I was trying to avoid re-downloading it unless it was a sure thing. Hope you guys can help me, thanks for reading either way.

I'd assume because the game is fun... if not you can always hand off your cd key to any other person who could care less about ranks and such.

The point of an rpg is to gain levels and new gear and such. CoD isnt the typical shooter because it grants you new gear and unlockables. People play better with different gear sets and perks. And as it stands, there are many weapons and perks that are better then ones you get at lower levels. Why would I play if this continues to happen to me, and other players. Your whole point makes no sense, I payed for the game they made and I wouldn't have if they had said "Were only going to give you the first rank, It is just a shooter after all."

I had to wait to be registered to the steam servers overnight.

This is completly ludicrous, Im pretty sure I'm boned, why bother playing the game if it can happen again?

As my title suggests I have lost ALL ranks on my COD MW2 game after my computer crashed mid game... Looking at the support page on steam ( https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3991-EOAV-1596 ) I tried to do as they said but it ended up not working, I'm still rank 1. I have here a screen shot of players folder containing my backup of the Ranks and would really apprecieate some help on this as I have lost many hours of gameplay in a matter of seconds which i had no control over.

As I understand it, it all adds up, otherwise it would be pretty stupid.

Ya I was pretty sure but not sure enought that i wanted to spend my points.

But just so i have this clear, eventually in the Strong Steel tree, if you take all 3 talents, you gain +75% damage while using a steel blade in strong stance?

A simple answer from someone and I will have the Witcher completely figured out.

The only thing that is puzzling me is in the talents distribution aspect of the game. Am I able to skip lower tier talents, and just learn the higher tier of that talent? I will give you an example...

In the tree of "Strong Steel Weapons" there is a talent called "Crushing Blow". Now as level 1 Strong Steel user I can get rank one of crushing blow. But if I were to advance to level 2 Strong Steel, and then not learn crushing blow rank 1 but instead learn rank 2 (without ever learning rank one), am I still receiving the same effect as though i learned rank 1?

Or even though I am able to learn rank 2 over rank 1, is rank 1 still required for me to recive the effects of rank 2?

Again this is the only thing that I am confused on and maybe there is something I'm just overlooking, but its preventing me from spending my points confidently thus slowing my experience with The Witcher.

End War and World in Conflict esque games are not the future thats for sure... I miss the Age of Empire Days up until the third came out... And of course games like Homeworld and Ground Control need to be redone.

Does anyone Remember Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2?

I looked at one mod and it says "A total modification for the Orangebox engine."

I'm not sure...

Just a quick, green, question.

Do I need to have a Orange Box game, Portal or Team Fortress 2, in order to play mods that use the Orange Box engine?

Thanks for the help!
