Thanks for all the reply's guys.

Yeah, it's mainly getting stuck on tough enemies rather than not knowing how to progress in the story so I guess I just have to grind a little more than I have been. Also I think I generally tend to neglect buffs and de-buffs more than I should whenever I play JRPG's.

The reason I'm asking is I've just recently started playing Persona 4 and, like everyone else, I'm really enjoying it. I don'twant to get stuck in the middle the way I do other JRPG's.

Again thanks for all the replies. :)

Firstly, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the wrong section so if I am please forgive me.

As RPG's go I like to think I'm pretty good at the western variety (apart from anything using D&D rules which mystify me) so that's games like Mass Effect, Oblivion and Fallout 3.

I really enjoy playing JRPG's but I always tend to hit a wall about a quarter of the way through any of the ones I play where I just can't progress any further. I think my main problem is that I'm just not as sure of how to approach them as I am western RPGs. I thought that to remedy this problem I would plead to theknowledgeable people here on Gamespot for some general JRPG help. Any replies would be much appreciated.
