Great idea, unfortunately, those forums no longer exist. When the company that developed the game (nucleosys) went out of business, their website/forums were shut down. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Thanks for your response!

I have tried updating my drivers and software on my PC, but it hasn't done a thing for the game. I've even tried downloading the game as opposed to using a physical CD copy.

Anyway, I'll probably ask around the PC Hardware forum, like you suggested.

Once again, thanks for you help; it's much appreciated.

Hi! So, I recently bought the pc game "Scratches: Director's Cut" for my Windows XP, and while it will run, there are black and white blocks that randomly pop up to block my view of the game screen and moving around is very slow and laggy. I read that sometimes people have issues with this game, and these problems can be fixed with a certain patch for the game, which I downloaded and installed, but it did nothing. I can't contact the company because they have gone out of business, and I, quite frankly, don't know what else to do. Should I try to get the non-director's cut version in hopes that it will work properly on my pc? Or is there something I can download that I don't know about yet? Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thanks!
