I've tried to play it on my 360 but just can't seem to last 5 mins as i find it boring, maybe because i missed halo 2?

Edit: I wouldn't have spent money on the game to be honest, it came bundled with my 360 along with gears 1 and 2.

The unknown Gears 1, without any earlier games,on a much smaller userbase, sold 1 million in 2 weeks. Source.

The sequel and hotly anticipated FPS, on a muchlarger userbase than Gears 1, sold 1 million in 1 MONTH and A HALF.

Tell me, what's better? To sell 1 million copies in 2 weeks on a SMALL userbase when you are UNKNOWN,

or to sell 1 million copies in ONE and a HALF month with a much BIGGER userbase when you're a HOTLY anticipated sequel?

Fact: Gears 1 was the first game in an entirely new series - nothing established.

Gears 1 was released when there were much fewer 360 than there are PS3 now.

Gears 1 STILL managed to sell faster than the HUGELY anticipated PS3 FPS sequel.

Killzone 2 selling over 1 million is great seeing as how the the first game was quite poor. However, I cant help but feel confused about the numbers. We know the game has sold over 600k in NA alone. Now, we were also told it had around 1 million pre orders in the EU. Wouldn't that make sales closer to 1.6 million.
