The Post-Shopping Guilt

Has hit me. It's like I know I shouldn't buy it. But I want to buy it. So I stand there in front of the PS3 and PC game sections for so long the employees start asking me to leave because I freak out the clientele. Then, when I buy it I feel a momentary mixture of both joy and glory.

Then you get home you look at the reciepts and you feel that slight shimmer of guilt. It's that kind of guilt that you can't really feel, but you know it's there. Like a BNP member in the Daily Mail.

Anyways enuff of this silly ramblin'. LET US SEE WHAT I GOT. (I would provide pics but my web cam is on the fritz)

So Four CDs:

Experience Hendrix

Led Zeppelin IV

DYLAN (Bob Dylan)

Stop The Clocks (Oasis)

One DVD:

Fight Club Special edition

One Blu-Ray:

Five Games:

Mount & Blade (Which is brilliant)

ArmA II (Also pretty cool)

InFAMOUS

One Book:

The Liar By Stephen Fry

Crazy People

I was walking around in the center of Rome and a man in a large trench-coat came up to me.

He said "Nice Hat, I've got one just like it."

I said "Thanks"

He walked away.

I was not wearing a hat.

Woah. My topic title HAS to be between 5 and 80 characters.

Crap went down today.

A man first tried to steal my wallet. I stopped him from doing so and he ran off into the sunset. Later on I went to the bar for a coffee and the woman at the counter took my twenty Euro note and forgot to give me my change. :x

Everybody is out to get me... Or at least my money...

In other news I got a new mattress. Hopefully t'will be comfortable. If not... well there's nothing I can do.

In other news:
There is no other news I tricked you.
Bill Bailey's Tinselworm

Well I've bought the DVD. And I'll get straight to the point - it's brilliant. Funny, good on the ears, visually stunning and at the end, leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. No joke.

The range of subjects is vast; tattoos, marketing, doorbells, Emo, creationism, post-war banking secrecy, travellers' tales and the introspecting weirdness that is Bill's mind.

Joe Magee is responsible for the obscure but funny animation often appear over Bill's head, and you can't exactly say he's bad at his job. Most of the animations (Like the British National Anthem in the style of Jazz) are very simple yet very effective, and combined with the lighting, make a funky midday snack for the eyes.

Then let's not forget the music. With his guitar, keyboard, and a couple extra people, he prepares a psychedelic full English breakfast for the ears (I'm starting to hate this metaphor).

The only flaw, is that he seems to have toned himself down. He seems a bit more "safe" than he used to be. However, perhaps it just me.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this to any Bill Bailey fans, or non-fans. I am sure it will leave you entertained and happy.

Next Buy: Michael McIntyre Live & Laughing.

Happy New year!

I have never understood the concept of celebrating another passing of one more year. If so, why not celebrate the passing of other units? Like days, or months?

I find it a useless celebration. Basically an excuse to get smashed, and be an overall idiot. Where idiots and their idiot friends go have an idiot's night out. Oh joy. The Most exciting thing I did was play my guitar on te roof... While hundreds of fireworks were going off around me. That was pretty cool. The rest kind of sucked.

Anyways Happy New year everyone!

Yet another blog entry

Well here I am, just another silly update.

I've discovered a few things; Dylan Moran, PG Tips, and Resistance 2.

Dylan Moran is a brilliant Irish comedian and actor. He writes and stars in the series Black Books which I recommend to pretty much anyone interested in having a good laugh. You can watch it on YouTube, so GO WATCH IT :x

I have finally managed to find PG Tips in Italy! It took me an absurd amount of time, and a lot of shop browsing, but I finally found it. Whats annoying is that I just find it when I'm about to leave the country :(

As for Resistance 2, well... It's a very good game. The action scenes are brilliant, and the online is wonderful. I suggest it to any PS3 Owner :)

Left 4 Dead demo

Yesterday I pre ordered Valves latest, Zombie-tastic, duly awaited new game, Left 4 Dead on steam. And guess what I got? An early version of the demo. Frankly *puts on glasses beret and sips cappucino* I think its brilliant.

One thing that blew the socks off of my for head the first time I played is that the zombies are positioned in differently every game. So when I died and re-started I would get, mauled, sicked upon, and pinned at every corner.

Also I had great time trying to fend off the zombie apocalypse with my friends. Partly because it's one of those things that you just really want to do. You just feel so awesome 8)

Oh yes, and If you get the game don't trust doors. They don't last very long. At all.

EDIT: Oh yes I almost forgot, Thailand was awesome. ;) Met a very nice American girl there too.
