My personal website went off line today, so my personal image, icon and banner (which were all hosted on that site) were lost. After experimenting with some alternative pictures, I noticed that we can now upload personal images directly through Preferences, as originally intended. It's been some months since the feature was launched, so it is worth noting that it now works properly!

For the legions of you who haven't asked, my default image is of Philip Whitchurch, seen in character as Chief Inspector Philip Cato ("the bald-headed bastard from Barton Street") from The Bill.
