Glutton for punishment that I am, I have decided to embark on sorting the show guide to Dixon of Dock Green. This was, until last year, the longest running police drama series in the world, although, at just 434 episodes, it will be a breeze compared to certain other guides I could mention! Just adding creator credits and missing guest stars was enough to secure editorship of the show, but there are more guests to add, while most of the legacy guest entries will need to be deleted and reinstated with character names, actual episode stars have to be determined and added, while some character names will need to be amended as characters are promoted or marry. I also have to deal with the existence of two episodes 117 and 199, and an omitted episode between 179 and 180.

Hmmm… I have always liked to use the occasional blog to bore one and all by recounting what an industrious chap I am, but, in the current environment, as TV.com becomes the new Salem, that last paragraph just sounds like self-justification! Oh, well…
