When adding a new guest star to an episode, the system is now designed to give you a little on-screen extract from the actor's profile. Many of us have complained about getting error messages instead. These contain the same essential data, but pop up in a new window that has to be closed before proceeding, an extremely irksome process indeed.

I tried disabling my pop-up blocker, to no avail. Disabling my ad-blocker reduced the size of the error message page, but did not address the problem. I have now found that I can enable the feature only by switching off Norton Internet Security all together. This is a wholly unsatisfactory arrangement, and my dedication to TV.com is not enough for me to risk the security of me and mine.

I have posted this in the technical forum in the hope that one of the technical support people addresses the problem. When they do, I shall be agitating for the feature to be extended to crew.
