Xbox Live Indie Games: The Impossible Game

I suggest if you haven't played this game yet, try it out. It's only 80MSP which is the equivalent of $1. There is a trial available of course, but it's extremely short. The game is challenging so it seems a lot longer than it actually is, as it's only 10 seconds max.

I can't stop playing this game, it's fun and very challenging. Best dollar I ever spent. :D

Why are elitist so dumb?

A recent thread about how Square Enix sucks now made me post this, because it keeps being said over and over by elitist. "Company X fell off and they're games haven't lived up to the quality of Game Y"

Do they even realize how stupid of a statement that is? BioWare does not suck because they haven't been able to top Baldur's Gate II, Square doesn't suck because they haven't topped FF6/FF7 (depends on which elitist you talk to)

You want an example of who fell off? Rare. They went from releasing masterpieces like Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong Country, etc. to release decent games like Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts and Kameo. That's a developer who "sucks" now, not BioWare, not Square Enix, not Bungie or any other big name developer who happened to release a masterpiece and since then have only been able to release great games.

In other words, what you elitists (aka fake gamers) are saying is "Kobe sucks because he hasn't been able to top his 81 point performance" or "Adrian Peterson sucks because he hasn't rushed for 296 yards since he set the record" Use the analogy to whatever sports milestone you can think of and it's the same as saying "Company X sucks because they haven't done anything as great as Game Y"

Grand Theft Auto wasn't, and never will be exclusive.

The one thing that annoys me the most about the internet is how fanboys love so say how GTA was exclusive to Sony and that GTAIV was ruined once going multiplatform.

Let's take a look at the series to see just how much of an exclusive it is.

Grand Theft Auto: PC, Playstation, GameBoy Color

Grand Theft Auto 2: Playstation, PC, Dreamcast, GB Color

Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas were all released on Playstation 2, PC, Xbox

There's a Grand Theft Auto for the GameBoy Advance, there's GTA Chinatown Wars which was on Nintendo DS before being ported to PSP. It's also on the iPhone/iPod Touch.

How is a franchise exclusive, when it has been on SIX non Sony platforms? When comparing the PS3 and 360, games like Left 4 Dead 1/2, Mass Effect 1/2, Gears of War and others are not allowed to be brought up because they're also on PC, yet Sony fanboys love to always bring up how GTA was exclusive.

Also, the only GTA's to actually ever be exclusive, are GTA: London 1961 which was an expansion for the PC, Grand Theft Auto Advance for the GB Advance and The Lost and Damned/Ballad of G*y Tony for the 360. Out of those, GTA: Advance is the only one that is not an expansion. None of those are Sony platforms so yet again, why is GTA touted as a once Sony exclusive? ..and yet despite all of this. Sony fanboys still believe that GTA V will be exclusive because some stupid internet site said it would be years ago. Look at the facts. GTA V has as much of a chance being exclusive as Madden 2011 does.

Modern Warfare 2 reviews.

As I read most of them, a lot of reviewers are clearly just buying into the hype, thus myself and others believing this will be one of the most overrated titles ever. I give COD it's respect because it is a quality title, I don't like because it's a bit too casual for someone like myself, who has played top tier shooters that actually require you to have skill and intelligence, but for what COD sets out to do, it accomplishes. It's not trying to be uber realistic and it's not trying to dethrone CS, Quake 3, Street Fighter or StarCraft as the most competitive games. I criticize COD but it's undeserved, as I am one to believe you should judge something on what it sets out to do, not what you want it to do. If you're a fan of comedy movies, of course Pulp Fiction is going to suck to you. If you like plot-driven movies, of course something like Transformers or Rush Hour won't appeal to you, it doesn't mean these movies are bad, they just aren't catered to you. The same applies to games.

I have decided to give this game a chance due to GiantBombs review. I have always been impressed with Jeff's reviews as he doesn't let his opinions influence his reviews, he judges the game on what it does or doesn't do and if he gives it a 5 out 5, I have no doubt it's going to be a superb title, maybe a bit overrated, but superb.

PS: I'm going to be the first person to get a nuke and not call it in, then proceed to quit.
