What I Like About You

"No one mourns the wicked"

Okay, so. It's been forever since I've blogged, but I'm back because I have a new show that I'm addicated to! It's not really the best show ever, but somehow i got hooked on it (you should all know how that is since you're TV.com'ers) and I just can't stop watching it. I'll probably blog again soon ranting about the show, but I have to go to sleep so this is just a quickie!

I'm back.

"Masquerade; hide your face so the world will never find you."

So it's July 10th, and I'm back.

I just have to say that The Phantom of the Opera was obviously the best part. It's really one of the most incredible stories ever written. Even if you're not familiar with the book or movie though, you can still enjoy seeing it on Broadway. I know everyone thinks I'm just saying good things about it because I've been in love with the movie, but it truly is the best. But, if you do go to New York city and you want to see a few shows, and Phantom is one of them, I suggest saving it for last. If you see Phantom first, you'll be kind of disappointed with anything you see after it. I saw The Phantom of the Opera on the 30th, and then the next night I went to go see Chicago with my dad and my sister, and I really wasn't impressed. I love the movie, but there's so much more they could have done with it on stage. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if i hadn't just been blown away by what I saw the night before.

Anyway, I had like, the best seats ever for POTO. We were four rows back from the orchestra pit, and you really don't want to be any closer to the stage than that. The fourth row is perfect though because that's right where the chandelier falls, right under/in front of the phantom when he comes down singing All I Ask of You (Reprise), and it's close enough to see everything and even hear the people on stage breathing. I do have to admit though that I was a little disappointed with the chandelier falling. It just seemed a little weird, the timing for it and everything, but it's not like it ruined the show or anything, so it's okay. During intermission me and my sister went over the the orchestra pit to watch them practice and stuff, and they were all pretty friendly looking people. My sister plays the bass, and she's a social butterfly, so she said hi to the bassist and they actually started talking. She said that she has to do 8 shows, 6 days a week. That's kind of crazy, especially for some of the people that are actually on stage. Anyway, you can ask me questions if you happen to be curious about anything [:

The next show I plan on seeing is Wicked. I'm reading the book right now, and The Wizard of Oz, obviously, is another one of my favorite movies ever. So if anyone has seen that, I'd like to know your opinion on it.

Level Three (Revised)

"... But if this ever changing world in which we live in makes you give in and cry, live and let die."

I'm so excited, I've been waiting to finally be at level 3! I thought the colorful thingy was stuck at 93%.

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know that I absolutely hate the Jonas Brothers with a passion. My sister made me watch Camp Rock with her tonight (.. okay, she didn't really force me to watch it, I was kind of curious about it anyway..) and it was the worst movie I've ever seen in my life. I just thought I'd warn whoever happens to read this. DO NOT WATCH CAMP ROCK.

So I watched 3 epsiodes from the 5th season of Monk today. I have about 4 more episodes left until I finish. I was obviously bored.

I do have plans for tomorrow though! I'm going to my friend's sister's going away party and probably staying over there for a while. On Monday though, I plan to start packing for my trip [:

On June 30th I'm going to see The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway! I'm leaving on the 26th and won't be back until around July 10th..ish. I'm so excited, I've been waiting FOREVER to see this. Not even Emily or Roberto understand how excited I am. Please don't watch Saw 3 and 4 without me guys, okay? Thanks.

Life!

I'm never babysitting again.

On Friday night my dad's cousin asked me to babysit her daughter for the night while she went out to see Sex and the City with some people so I did. I got there at 6:15 and she left at 6:25ish. This was the second time I've ever watched Trinity and the first time went well. This is time was TERRIBLE. She literally cried 6 times while I was there, and for the dumbest reasons. Reason #1: I touched her hair. Reason #2: After I touched her hair, she ran into her mother's room (her mother said I wasn't allowed to go in there because it was a mess) and locked the door, and to try and get her to come out I said something along the lines of "I came all this way just to play with you and if you're going to hide from me I might as well leave" and she opened the door and burst into tears again >_< (that was definitely a stupid thing to do on my part, I know) Reason #3: She pulled out this mat that she said she likes to do tricks on and asked me to do a cartwheel on it, so I did, and then I sat down on the couch and she said she wanted to do her trick now, so I stood up from the couch and before I even took a step or said anything, she started crying again. Reason #4: She wanted to play with her fairies and she had 5 of them, she said I could only play with one and she played with all of the other ones, and when i asked why I couldn't have at least two to play with she started crying. Reason #5: I went into the kitchen to get some water while she was watching High School Musical 2. Reason #6: She fell asleep on the couch halfway through HSM2 so I put on America's Funniest Home Videos and when she woke up I asked her if she wanted to go in her bed and she screamed no at the top of her lungs and then started crying, but then fell back asleep.. I don't think they'll ever ask me to babysit again. But yeah, when she got home, around 11:30ish, I walked over to my grandmother's house because she happens to be her neighbor and I slept there.

Anywayyyyyyyyy,

I have a sun burn and dance today was very, very painful =[

Ohoh! Does anyone know my real name?! Other than Emily and Roberto.

Vent.

This is just for messing around. I want to see what I can do with this thing.

So if you haven't noticed, I added some of my favorite shows, but I can't really think of any other ones. I know I loved the Disney Channel but the only good shows were Even Stevens, So Weird, and That's So Raven. I don't know, TV kind of sucks.

You know what really bugs me? When a good movie comes out and it's successful, they try to make a TV show out of it. The TV show always ends up sucking and it kind of takes away from the movie, at least for me. For example, Hercules was a great movie and that was turned into a show, same with Barnyard, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and other ones that I probably don't even know about.

I think it's funny how Nick @ Nite isn't on just at night, it's on until like, 7:00 in the morning. I'm not really sure what time it starts because I don't usually watch it, it'd be funny if it started at midnight, because technically that's the morning.

Did anyone else watch Tin Man? I kind of want to know someone's opinion on it. I thought it was awesome.

First Blog

I'm not really into all this blog stuff, but whatever.

To explain my username, my two favorite movies ever are TheWizard of Oz and The Phantom of the Opera.

You know, you'd probably expect someone on a site like this to be a couch potato and TV show buff, but I'm really not at all. I hardly ever watch TV, but I am a huge movie buff. Whenever I do like a show, I have to wait for the entire season to go on sale at Target so I can watch it, I can't keep up with watching things on TV at a specific time.

I own seasons 1-5 of Monk, and I've seen almost all of them; I'm still working on the 5th season. Monk is by far my favorite show ever, one of the only shows I've ever gotten into. I do have to admit though, it's taking me a while to finish the 5th season. But it's not because I'm getting tired of the show, it's because I absolutely cannot stand Natalie. Anyway, I also tend to get sucked into American Idol halfway through the season. I think the whole voting system of the show is stupid though, people should vote for the person they want to get kicked off, not their favorite person. Other than those two shows I don't really watch anything. I mean, if Full House happens to be on when I'm flipping channels I'll watch that, or if Boy Meets World ever came back on, I'd watch that for sure, but I don't get really into them. I could probably get into Reaper though, I saw the first episode at my Uncle's house and I loved it, but when I sat down on whatever night he said it's on, I found out that I don't get the channel that Reaper is on >_< so I'll definitely be making some trips to target for that one. Oh, and I forgot 24. I started watching the first season, and I got up right to the part where he has to shoot the chick he works with, but then you find out she really survived because it was a bullet proof jacket that he used to hide the gun that he was holding on her back. That was pretty incredible.

Too bad they don't have a www.Movie.com.. or do they? It'd be awesome though because I could do so much more with it. Last night I had some people over and we wanted to go rent the 4th Saw movie, but my mom wouldn't get out of bed, so we bought one of those on demand movies or something, and it was definitely the worst movie i've ever seen in my life. It's called Funny Games. It's so terrible that it's almost worth watching.

"Mom, there's someone here..."
