Nope, it makes absolutely no sense to me, please do explain. If CoD Black Ops had last gen graphics, would it really be any worse of an experience than it already is?

I've never played Black Ops, but if say Red Dead Redemption had Ocarina of Time's textures and weather effects then that would very effectively ruin the experience of RDR compared to how it stands today.

So the gameplay didn't matter? Just the visuals?

I guess a game where graphics seem to really be evolving game play is what rockstar is doing with la noire. I think graphics aren't everything, but a better looking game is nice and easy on the eyes, its crisper. Im not dying for hd but boy would it be nice. And I feel like next gen, graphics will add game play elements. The past systems more graphics have changed quite a bit. Worlds can expand, show more details, making for a more immersive experience.

I have quite a few, out of my collection(PS3,360,Wii) haven't beat 9/40.

Assassin's Creed 1 - Just couldn't get into it.

Bayonetta - playing it now.

Dead Space - Got to the part where you have to shoot the asteroids, was having a blast, but that part pissed me off beyond belief I just gave up. And I was really enjoying the game :(

Tomb Raider Underworld - Eventually want to finish it, just sucks cause all great games came after it, started with Uncharted 2.

Condemned 2 - haven't even started it, feel guilty about this one, just never got in the mood to start it.

Gears of War 2 - just put it down for awhile and never returned to it.

Okami - got real far but a great game came out, can't remember which one and just never made my way back to it. Do intend to.

Super Mario Bros Wii - played it with my wife, got to the last level and we just kind of stopped.

Star Wars Force Unleashed - Want to finish

This also doesn't count the games I returned or sold because I hated them.

Just been getting beat down with great games coming out. After I finish bayonetta there will be heavy rain, then Final fantasy and God of War. So I dont see myself coming back to these in awhile.

You know I completely forgot abou that game. Bought it, beat it in a week (think it took 6 or so hours to beat), returned it, forgot about it.

I would rent it if I were you, make sure you don't buy at full price. Not worth it, maybe if it drops to 20.

Looks good graphically, still iffy on the gameplay. I'll just wait til reviews are out and what not. Red Steel wasn't as bad, imo, of how everyone portrayed it, but I bought it brand new, the anger still lingers in me.

But I think Nintendo should head in the direction of this game graphically for the next zelda game. I think this looks better than TP and me enjoying windwaker art style, I believe this is a good mix between TP and WW that woulnt get fans angry.

These two have to be hands down my top games of this gen. But Mass Effect 2 wins in my books, but Mass Effect 2 may have been placed as my favorite game of all time. But that's not dissing Uncharted 2, I think if you have a 360 and PS3, these games are must haves!

No, I feel the games are getting better and bigger. The only things that I think have hit a plateau and is causing this problem is a repetitive story. Yeh it changes somewhat, gets more detailed but it still follows the same generic outline that has been seen in all the Zeldas. I would like an epic original story with many twists and turns, epic moments that are scene in games like metal gear solid. Now Im not asking for a metal gear story zelda, just something with more depth. Also the difficulty needs to be adjusted. Other than that the Zelda's keep continue to get better and I think are the best action/adventure game out there. It really immerses you in Hyrule. LttP was amazing, long, hard, and epic. OoT brought that into 3d. MM was my favorite game, the difficulty was imo the hardest. added new elements and great characters. Still remember that games moments. WW had an amazing story, more detailed, felt very epic. TP just took everything that was great about the zelda series and put it in 1 game. I think this was the problem. They just copied and pasted the great things about the zelda, which makes the "best" zelda game, but it felt too much like the other games which i think was its downfall.
