I have never regretted paying for it, and I've had it for 4 years now. I mean its not even absurdly expensive (im looking at you, WoW) and it has almost always been run very professionally.
I saw those two 90+ reviews as well, but IGN gave it a 8.4 so i'm not even sure if it's actually better then Vegas. I'll just have to pick it up and decide for myself.Strife88
Yeah, but if you read the review, the guy sounds like he's never played a video game before. He wasn't very convincing, and I wouldn't take his word for it. I'm probably going to pick it up because I was a fan of the first.
I think its next-gen. I mean really, it does everything better than last gen, and in my opinion better than the other next-gen systems. Its got a bunch of great games. I dont see it doing anything wrong, really.
Oh theres a reason. The reason is theres no way in hell that Gears is coming to the PS3. Microsoft has the cash to make sure of that, and it was developed for and solely for the 360. Epic hasn't made so much as an offhand comment about it coming to PS3, which is a lot more than can be said about PS3 developers for the 360.
I dunno. I'd say anything is possible, and there is that "Phantom" system skulking around in the shadows. At the moment I'd say Sega couldn't pull it off, and Apple knows next to nothing about games. Right now I couldn't forsee another system, but perhaps by the time the next generation of systems comes around...who knows?
