If you live in the UK, there's a good chance you woke up to a nice white blanket of snow this morning.

And as per usual the country grinds to a complete halt because we've experienced a weather condition which isn't calssed as light drizzle or mild sunshine. This morning I'm sat at my desk staring at a largely empty office due to people 'not being able to venture in'. And most of these people live less than 10 miles away from the office.

Tish and piffle I say! As a nation I'm sure we're all pre-programmed to run around in blind panic as soon as the first snow flake hits the ground. What is it about our culture that just can't adapt to slightly above normal climate conditions?

Hot weather - Widespread drought.
Snow - No transport.
Heavy Rain - Flooding.
High winds - Call it a tornado.
