@dinosaur_teeth: --i cant let my kids play video games --then i dont have time to --ha nah but --becuase that quickly becomes ALL they wanna do! --they transform into like zombies --and the games become BRAINS
@davillain-: --it is ok --but just come to the christmas party this year --it lasts 4 weeks --quite the whole ordeal --i mean --we sacrifice christmas trees to baby jesus and everything --and OHH the aroma of sweet incense coming from our dirty stockings steaming over the fireplace
--that is crazy though --i mean --they are OBVIOUSLY not selling the numbers they want(right outta the gate~they are jumping on making bundles) --they are once again just giving shit like controllers away --those are like 60$ --it is one reason why i bought a 2nd xb1 --i needed a new controller(and the bundle i got was RIDICULOUS)
--i have never seen such desperation to sell a console --i will say this though --at least they do not let their pride get in the way --because that is EXACTLY what nintendo did with wiiU(they shoulda started giving wiiUs away right around the time MK8 & Smash didnt jolt console sales) --and --look at wiiU now
--but like me --a lot of people didnt even 'use' the internet back then(to investigate EVERY little thing) --i didnt know what it was --i remember feeling somehow 'involved'(after watching it) --like --"should i call the police?" ha --because --all it was for me was a video i downloaded(from a friend's email link) --and --they did a REALLY good job acting and making it seem like it was real --i mean there were no opening credits or titles
--today(and even just a year or 2 later) --i would have been googling that shit within 5 minutes of watching it --just to see what it was --check for ratings --look for scientific explanations of the cinematography --brush over the Wikipedia page --ya know?
--ha --different times(1999 was right there on the cusp of the information age) --i was a little slow getting going strong online --i couldnt afford it --i was just a kid --id use the college for 'internets' --now that i think about it --i think i had just gotten my first computer and gotten online --right around the time i watched that shit
@dlCHIEF58: --i see how you avoided my facts --you accuse me of being an opinionated troll --well maybe i can be --but i also spew fact son --i spew fact
--a PC elitist would sell a kidney for new hardware(if that was the price he had to pay) --and then pirate all his games
--the only problem with scorpio(based on 'your assumption' of what it will be) --is that there is no market for branded gaming PCs --you need proof? --go check valve's steam machines sales numbers
@dinosaur_teeth: --i collect nintendo stuff --they make such timeless consoles and aaa exclusives for them --it is ridiculous --i can pull out my NES(snes n64) and play any of it's greatest titles --and they are right there on par with being as current as any game today --but --i can look at a game like wiiU's starfox(one of wiiU's worse games~but most prevelant to the wiiu's unique mechanics) --and i understand --that in 50 years --it will still be a relevant piece of gameplay --because it is unique in a very timeless way(as long as that damn controller doesnt quit working)
--another thing about nintendo --is their shit hardly EVER loses value --and their collector's editions --if kept in box and great condition --hold value as good as gold(literally)
@suicidesn0wman: --i can tell you a little trick in how to predict the future --it is REALLY easy(in many cases~not all) --but to see the future --just... --look what happened in the past --it is ESPECIALLY easy to 'predict the moves' of someone of ridiculously solid character --in this case --that someone is Microsoft
--so what is their M/O --well --besides windows 95 --windows xp --and xbox 360 --they make shit nobody buys
@Daveof89: --you again --why havent you followed me back yet? --trust me --once we are gamespot pals --these conversations will become MUCH more healthier
