@pointingmonkey: --it had a 175$ million budget --it has already grossed 575$ million --it has been the #1 movie in each of it's first 3 weeks --and this weekend is only it's 4th week in theaters
--i am not sure where you are 'coming up with' your argument(that SS is not a 'success')
--you do understand --i didnt want this movie to be a HUGE success --my point was that i believe in movie critics --and when 53 professional movie critics tally a combined score of 40/100 --it is then a GOTDANG shame --that moviegoers are going to it in DROVES
--i have seen the movie also --and it is a HORRIBLE 'movie' --i was thinking maybe the critics were being to harsh(as they have a tenancy to do) --but --suicide squad is easily one of the worst pieces of cinematography i have ever watched
--this movie really changed not only the movie world --and the internet world --it also changed the world --this movie sorta gave us all an idea of how influential/powerful the internet was(and was becoming) --and --for most of us(that were around back then) --it was the first real master internet troll we ever got sucked into
--however --i dont understand how the movie could actually have a 'sequel' --it is like impossible to 'actually' do
@smokerob79: --i played MH3U for over 500hrs on wiiU(about the only wiiU game that was big enough to play 'like that') --i quickly grew discontent with the flat back of the tablet --leaving my 3 or 4 fingers flat instead of 'gripping' --and i found it all very unergonomic for long term gaming(like several days of hours a day)
--Nintendo made PLENTY of Nintendo AAA games for wiiU(solid top notch games) --what killed wiiU --was wii --it was kinda the same thing that killed kinect2(kinect1) --but --what really got wiiU --was xb1/ps4 --nintendo did not 'line up' wiiU to properly compete in 8th gen --it was all timed VERY badly --right 'around the time' that wiiU was set up to get some solid AAAs(and gain it's early momentum) --ps4/xb1 launched --and it was pretty much over for wiiU at that point
--nintendo should have advertised wiiU as a secondary console --instead of a main competitor to xb1/ps4 --sorta like 3ds is --gamers do not buy a 3ds to 'compete' with their xb1/ps4/pc --they buy it for it's unique amazing gameplay --and it's games
--i just dont understand gaming brand fanatics myself(i have evolved from that way of thinking) --i mean dont get me wrong --i understand 'side choosing' --it is a primal pack instinct that marketers and political types prey on --making it seem like we have to 'choose a side' --sometimes it sounds so silly to me when i hear a gamer talk about how they love or hate 'sony' or MS --sony and MS are HUGE super-conglomerates --it isnt them you love/hate --it is one of their products --playstation or xbox
@smokerob79: --wiiU was a 2ndary shelved project --it was basically an 'old idea' they had to make DS compatible with tvs(DS means dual screen) --why did nintendo pull a shelved project out(and put wii BC in it?) --because --MS used kinect1 to over-saturate the motion market(with PS following along like a goofy puppy) --what did they over-saturate the motion market with? --PURE HDmotion turd
--wiiHD was nintendo's obvious next move --but by the time it came time to develop wii2 --there was ZERO demand for it --it also didnt help that motion+ STILL was not fully accurate --but yeah --i have never seen such blatant monopolizing in gaming as what MS did to nintendo --i am still not sure nintendo can fix their home console sector(MS really walloped them aside the head)
--starfox for wiiU was an idea of how old the wiiU itself was --you can see that the game was from YEARS ago(maybe during the first DS's early years) --a real 'just as well toss it in there' kinda game --but you gotta give it to em --almost EVERY SINGLE wiiU AAA exclusive were still pretty much MASTERPIECES
